Free shower facilities, 30m of free wifi each day, convenient shuttles (when parking fills up before 9am), and a small private alcove beneath an oak tree attached to our campsite to relax under during the hottest part of the day? Perfect! Plus the check-in process was easy and water spigots and bathrooms easy to access. Campers were really respectful of the 10pm quiet and lights-out rules in the campsite as well. Most parking spots are pretty exposed so just make sure your electronics and food will be OK in the sunny car all day!

This April was our 4th travel trailer trip to the Pinnacles, and we were fortunate enough to see condors on three different days! March and early April are good months for wild flowers and green hillsides assuming its not a drought year.

The park Rangers were surprised at the holidays unexpected attendance and crowds, perhaps lessons learned would be good. However, the park is magnificent.

Electrical hookup working, kept us warm in our RV. Campfire allowed during our stay. Showers and flushable toilets too available next to the Gift Store.

We were there during a weekend where the temp dropped to 26 at night and yet there was a fire ban in the campground. This seemed a bit strange as the campground is gravel and the temps were so low.

Well kept up park with beautiful views and great hiking trails suitable for all levels. Pool is kept up well and the two separate shops were an added treat.

Our RV camping spot, 98 was not level (not close)...would be nice if the sites were better maintained.

Very good campground. Slightly unlevel, but not bad. To bad the Park Store was not open when we left and it couldn't take credit cards. We biked up to the trail heads. Would be interesting to have amphitheater programs.

We camped on the solstice. Loved the skydark and the hills around our camp were beautiful in the moonlight. Not crowded. Quiet. The flock of wild turkeys were there. The walk from the campground through the woods was lovely and peaceful. The trees are magnificent. Saw 2 condors, song birds, and grouse in the woods. The campground was well worn but clean. Did not stay long enough for a big hike this trip. We will return.

We werent too excited about our campsite-it had hook-ups which were great-but the site was more open that we would have liked. The non hook-up sites were private and inviting. However, the hikes were totally amazing! We loved it here, and will definitely be back.Suggestion: make people more aware that you need to enter via the east entrance to enter the campground-and suggest routes for easier access for larger RVs.

The pool and shower were a nice surprise! It was great to take a shower after a day of hiking! The road in the RV section was pretty rough. We bottomed out the hitch in one of the deep potholes. The spot itself was nice and the shore power worked as expected. One downside is there isn’t a close restroom in the RV parking area. Ended up just holding it all night. The wildlife was awesome to wake up to though!

We really would have liked to have the shuttle service available during our stay.

Wonderful campground and great hiking trails

We paid for electricity but the 110v outlet was faulty wiriing. reverse polarity is an unsafe condition. I tried other spots and found the same fault there as well. We did without shore power for 2 nights.
@LizaS119 · Camped on Nov 16, 2021 at Campsite #98
Wonderful spot, we actually saw 10 condors flying!
@JeanL255 · Camped on Nov 8, 2021 at Campsite #98
Beautiful area with great hiking - both easy, level trails and more challenging ones.
The campground was disappointing. It's mostly a gravel parking lot with just a few sites near large beautiful oaks. Bathrooms are a long ways away, old and in bad condition, with only two shower stalls (woman's) for the whole campground and one of those out of order! There is a newer restroom in the tent area the opposite direction from the main one but it has no showers. We will probably go again for the hiking, but not expecting much from the campground. The facilities in general are a disgrace to the National Park system and certainly do not do justice to the lovely area.
You should not have to pay for internet access ($7 for 24 hour service)!

A wonderful campground. The pool was great to have to cool off during the hot afternoons. The store was clean, had a lot of items, and convenient hours. The park itself is phenomenal, a great secret gem.
@DavidD440 · Camped on Sep 12, 2021 at Campsite #98
I chose Electrical site 98, and was 100% pleased. The bordering tree shadow made the hot-afternoon livable, and its location the nearest clean toilet was finally successful near Tent Site #7. The main detraction from my visit was the unacceptably of male toilets near the pool (blow-back if a female toilet was flushed) and near site #40 (the toilet paper required two hands to dispense). Most toilets were in a deplorable condition of overflow, or residual material on the floor.
@RyanG376 · Camped on Sep 3, 2021 at Campsite #98
Loved the park, but was disappointed in the campground. The bathrooms had an inch of poo water on the ground and no toilet paper. The dumpsters were all overflowing with trash. A child threw up in the pool and no one came to clean it up.

Water was close by and the electrical hookups at our RV site worked well. We found out that we weren't allowed to use our outdoor shower due to groundwater contamination concerns. Campground is dusty but the star-gazing at night was incredible.

T-mobile service was good at our campsite, but no service at the General Store. No service in the park on hikes.

Nice campground, reccomend!
@KarenW206 · Camped on May 26, 2021 at Campsite #98
I found this campground expensive, especially after staying there. The campground is not well maintained, basically dirt. Hookups are only electric though water is available to fill your tank. The wifi is fairly awful, and $7 a day, but there is no cell or data coverage. Dump station only available 930 to 5pm, and you can only dump black tanks not gray tanks. I could not find this info anywhere on the information. The shower facilities are dated, were dirty, and required quarters. At this price and for such poor facilities, they should not charge for showers at all. They need a new concessionaire to run and improve this campground. Was disappointed. The park and trails itself is wonderful.

The reservation process once we arrived at the campground was difficult at best. There were no notices on the post as to our reservation. We had to go to the office to find out if our reservation was valid.
