Clean and lovely! Campground A site 3 was relatively close to the bathrooms and showers. I car camped as well as my friend and we were able to comfortably park next to each other. If you think your food is secure, think again. Raccoons can smell the tiniest crumb and come after you!

Have come back many years to hike the beautiful Hi Peaks trail. Also the talus caves are very special - Bring a real flashlight your cell phone light is a poor substitute.

Such an incredible and beautiful place! Be sure to watch the roads carefully and dont speed- Ive never encountered more suicidal chipmunks and a herd of turkeys. If you go to the caves, bring headlamps!

We loved our stay at Pinnacles! The scenery was beautiful and the facilities were clean and well-stocked. We'd definitely come again!

The campground was beautiful; the hikes were amazing. Highly recommend the caves and condor gulch hikes. Another recommendation is the Bacon homestead trial, we were able to see wild turkeys, deer, a red tail hawk, turkey vultures and alot of beautiful flowers.

Loved this campground! Shower was great and plenty of space for your clothes to stay dry, they were very clean, water was nice and warm sited were also spacious, hammock trees were sparse from what I saw but I stayed in 3 and was able to put up my hammock. would totally stay here again.

Pinnacles was a great camping experience! The camp facilities were very clean, as were the bathrooms and showers (the only thing that we found in our site was a few particle boards leaning against a picnic table). I really appreciated that the bathrooms had stocked soap dispensers. Concessionaire staff were professional and friendly. The kids loved cooling off in the pool and becoming Jr rangers. The whole family enjoyed the beautiful hikes. Looking forward to returning in spring for cooler weather.

I wasn't able to go because I was positive with COVID, I sent an email requesting re-scheduling or refund and never got any response :(

amazing. the trails were super well maintained and marked, easy navigation with breathtaking views and a nice mix of difficulties and terrains. Was surprised to find cheap, quality wi-fi and a cute pool - seems great for all ages and group types! Can't wait to come back and explore further, especially around Bear Gulch and the High Peaks trail

Clean campsites, friendly staff, and excellent bathrooms/showers. Be mindful of the camp store hours if you need to buy anything like firewood! We were out hiking and missed out on firewood the first night.

We really enjoyed the campground, and especially the site we reserved. It had plenty of room and privacy for us and our dog, and while the restrooms closest to us were closed for reconstruction, the restrooms up by the store were a short walk away. The site was clean and quiet.

Bring water, have a flashlight or headlamp for the talus cave diving.

Site #3 - Memorial Weekend. This site is easy to miss when you’re not looking, so pay attention since it’s basically almost near the entrance/visitor center. The ground has several ant holes so just be careful. Of course, raccoons as well. One of them tried to dig our trash bag next to us while we were eating. There is shower, minimum 3 minutes for 50 cents. At that time, women’s only has 1 shower stall working and 2 restroom stalls. There are porta-potties with tp and toilet seat covers, then soap and water outside. There’s water to wash the dishes. There’s also a swimming pool. Visitor Center sells firewood for $12 I think, which they deliver to the camp site directly. There’s wifi access - got the $7 for 24 hours. There was signal when we got back to our camp site (#3) from the visitor center so that was good. Bench trail is accessible through this campground, which leads to other trails so that weekend was crowded (not sure about non-holidays). We wanted to see the cave but it was closed, so didn’t really get to see it. We walked about 9.5 miles fro and to the campground. The Rangers were very helpful. We ran out of water and they offered us water bottles and gatorade! Thank you!! Overall, pretty good place to camp. Things to do: bike, hike, rock climb, swim (swimming pool for those who camped at the campground) - based from my experience or what I’ve seen while there.

The park landscape is unique and the staff is professional. Amenities are as good or better than any national or state park I've been to.

We enjoyed our stay in Pinnacles very much!!! The lady running the campground store is rude and utterly unhelpful, which was frustrating. The site numbers had changed, and she offered no warning, someone was in our site, she didn’t help us resolve it. Eventually we figured our we were now reassigned to the next site over. All of that could have been avoided, had the lady running the store been forthcoming and helpful when we checked in. Later, we lost something and the rangers asked us to report it at the store. Unfortunately, she was just as unhelpful with that. After we attempted to follow the appropriate channels and file through her and failed, we were able to return to the rangers and they filed the report for us and got it taken care of.
Despite the lady, we enjoyed our stay and all our hikes. Be aware you need to be prepared to park at trailheads by 8am Friday-Monday, 9am Tuesday, and 10am other days- the lots fill EARLY (again, some warning would have been nice). Your other option is to hike or bike to the trailheads (1.8 miles from the campground). Come prepared!

The Pinnacles Campground is a spacious, mellow place. Some sites could be quite hot with little shade but others are a good mix. Great birds and wildlife. Mostly clean bathrooms - more of a reflection of the campers and less on the staff. Friendly campground host.

The campground was clean. There were showers available. The bathrooms were clean with flush toilets available.
If you want to drive to the trailheads, expect to get up very early because the trailhead parking areas are very limited and they fill up quickly in the morning.
