Nice store with basic supplies, groceries, and drinks. No alcoholic beverages.Shuttle only runs on the weekends so if you don't have transportation to Bear Gulch or Old Pinnacles Parking, you're in for a 2-mile hike before you start hiking the main trails. The Bear Gulch caves are dark (need flashlight), the trail is slippery, steep and narrow in places. The High Peaks trail has outstanding views but is steep and narrow near the top. A bit challenging for the not so fit or elderly.

Wonderful and peaceful.Though, since you're asking the showers were less than great. The showers had lights that went off while my husband was taking a shower, so he had to walk into the room to activate the motion sensor. It was cold! My shower had very sensitive temp regulators. The water would come out dangerously hot, and then it was hard to get it to a normal temp.Otherwise, all was great.

The fall is a great time to visit. The RV sites have little shade and I would not want to cop in the heat of the summer.

We were here for a beautiful long weekend. It rained a 1/4 and it dried quickly and did not puddle up in our site at all. Clean campground, great hot showers, glad we left scooters at home for the kids because everything is D.G. And gravel. Plenty of space behind us for the kids to play and big beautiful trees. No fires right now, but the sites were set up weird where the neighbors fire pit is behind your trailer and your fire pit is behind the neighbor in front of you? It would have been awkward because the pits were pretty close to the back of our trailers. Luckily we were friends with the people camping behind us or we would have been in each others areas with kids and such. No problem if you have good campers next to you. Our neighbors had like 5 or 6 dogs with them. They did bark but not a nuisance to speak of, our must have been tired because usual he would have barked back but he was a good boy. Note that it is a campground where its doesn't appear they have a limit on dogs as long as they are not left unattended or taken on the trail and could have been worse. As noted in other reviews they are very strict with the campsite borders they set up. Our friends were in what was supposed to be a pull through with more space but when we arrived they had blocked off one side with another site and they got spoken to about having to park their truck elsewhere, even though online it noted the site was longer AND a pull though so just be aware your site could be different that stated when you arrive. Also, Monday night after the weekend crowd- the raccoons were out in full force. It kept some of is awake late because they were making noise and fighting like cats, a pack of 20 raccoons. Dont forget to check to make sure your neighbors dont leave out baby wipes like ours. They ripped open our friends camel pak and ruined it like a bear would have. Overall it was a great site and lovely campground! We will be back.

Thank you for keeping the swimming pool open!! It felt so good after our hike as it was a bit warm!!A question: We were near two campers who were having differences about noise, dogs, etc. There were plenty of empty spaces, so why didn't they move away from each other. Three rangers were dealing with this issue on Saturday night, 10/5, in the RV section. It didn't bother us--just too bad that they stayed next to each other for two nights ruining their weekend!!

The campsites were too close together. It would be nice to have a few trees in between sites.

Our group of 4 Trailers have been to Pinnacles many times. This last visit was not so good as the "Park Rangers" were not good at all. Waking people at night to have them turn off their lights. "Not an advertised requirement". "Dark Sky program is being considered, not yet implemented" Told to not park on Grass or get citation. That is not in the requirements. Overall they were dogmatic, condescending, and overall, overstepping their authority. We parked another vehicle at a site for Dinner and Ranger made us move. We asked the Ranger if we could finish Dinner and his reply was "YOU GOT 5 MINUTES" Vehicle had disability plates. I called and talked to the Supervisor Park Ranger.Blanca Stransky who appreciated my call and said action would be taken to emphasize how to talk to Campers. Rangers need to cool it, we pay their salary.

Very good campground. If the restroom is cleaner, it would be perfect.

Great park, so so camping. Very expensive for a camping with no water, no sewer and only 30 amps. Can’t believe they charge extra for the internet.

Beautiful, unique with condor sightings and some cave hiking. It's a new addition to the National Park System, but it seems lacking to rate that status. I think it used to be a monument, which is more appropriate.

The camp site we occupied was not a very comfortable site. The campground has been reorganized since the last time we visited and the site we selected #94 was at a weird angle so that we were shoehorned into the next site. It was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. The showers could use some attention, they are in very poor condition. The shower situation could be resolved with outdoor shower stalls that allowed you to use a solar shower bag. There are no ADA campsites in the the R.V. section.

Everything was just right. Considering that we are still in a pandemic, all went well. Our hikes were relaxing and sunny. The condors and even turkey vultures were absent. Perhaps because of the time of year or lack of winds. That didn't stop the wild turkeys and deer from showing their stuff. People social distanced on the trails without a problem. The store was properly set up for business. The creek was a wet trickle but still running as we crossed the bridge to visit the horses and historical buildings. We'll return.
Thanks to all who make Pinnacles possible.

Beautiful campground in a peaceful setting. Nice camp store. Visitor Center open only Thursday through Sunday during our mid May visit. Didn’t use the shower or pool. Husband said the men’s shower wasn’t great. If you plan to hike, get to the trail head early...VERY limited parking. And that was mid week. Pinnacles is a hidden gem!!!

Second trip to Pinnacles. Park is smaller, less frenetic, and overall easier to enjoy than some of the bigger parks. Hikes are great. For me this area and HWY 25 have a Zane Grey western vibe to them - lots of richly textured scenery.

First trip stayed in the van in the tent camping area. Raccoons are fearless so keep your food closed doors/windows closed. Second trip in the travel trailer and no issues with raccoons. There is a dump station for your trailer/RV, electrical hook ups, water access (but no hook ups) and wifi surprisingly.

Well worth the trip.

Nice campground. RV hookup section not as verdant as the rest. Nice hikes in the park.

Staff was helpful when we had questions. They also helped guide a repairman to our vehicle. I saw them in and around the campground all day. Campground is quiet and clean. Bathrooms are clean
