Pinnacles is an awesome place to hike and take in the abundant wildlife. The condors where on full display while hiking the High Peaks Trail. Also, don't miss the trail that takes you to the caves, then the reservoir. We camped at the campground which is also a great place to watch wildlife and take in the stars. What was also great, is the condition of the the public bathrooms in the campground. They have the cleanest showers and restrooms, hands down. We're already planning our trip for next year. Cant' wait!

We enjoyed our stay at Pinnacles campground. We stayed in a tent cabin which made the visit easy. At check-in campers should be told strongly to keep food in cars or the food box. Our next door neighbor left their car window down about 2-3 inches and raccoons got inside and broke into all of their food and made a pretty big mess. The raccoons will also break into the camp tents after food. Otherwise it was a great stay with wonderful hiking!

My wife and I loved our time in the park. The cabin was clean, the bed comfortable, and we enjoyed making a fire each night. Restrooms and showers were clean each day. The night skies were fabulous. Having wifi service at the cabin was a bonus. But the nights were cold (low to mid 20s) and the small space heater provided is vastly ineffective. The outlet was also a bit finicky - getting both to work at the same time was sometimes a challenge. Seriously, there's only four tent cabins with power - invest in better heaters for them and make sure the outlets work properly, and this is five stars for us.

The campground was beautiful and the caves were amazing to explore. The general store staff is helpful and well stocked. The negatives are 1) that the campground rangers are less than friendly and helpful and 2) the wait to get into the park, even if you have a campsite reservation, can be over an hour as all traffic (day use and campers) must use the same single lane road.

We knew Pinnacles was not a dog-friendly NP, but were okay with it since we (family of 6 with 3 dogs) had 2 tent cabins and were planning to just try winter camping for the first time. The cabins each had a small heater, fan and weak lamp. The first night there was freezing cold and the other tent had a rip in the canvas, but I don't think that patching it up would have warmed anything up considerably. Both tents had 2 outlets, but after the first night, none of the electricity worked in one tent. Ours had one working and one temperamental outlet. Basically, the attraction for the tent cabins was the electricity, so the lack of it in one of the tents was a huge loss. Of all the NPs that we've visited (about 30 so far), Pinnacles was the most disappointing; there isn't much to do besides hiking. There was not a scenic route to drive along. And the tent camps were a waste of money. The only reason the trip was saved was that our group was happy to be together.

My husband and I both use CPAP machines for sleep apnea, so having a cabin with electrical outlets was essential for accessing this park. Thank you! It was also nice that there was a queen bed, clean floors, and clean bathrooms and showers. The folks at the market were friendly. Always a plus! And since there are chargers at the store, next time well drive our EV.

We enjoyed our experience, but road work made the four days unpleasant. We had to move our cars. Nobody knew when or where roads would be resurfaced, or parking, and facilities would be unavailable. We'd planned to drive to the west Side of the park and hike. They closed the west side of the park the day before we arrived. We had to redo our plans on short notice. A partial rebate would have been nice to make up for the inconvenience and disruption. On the plus side, bathrooms and showers were improved from two years ago.

Very peaceful at middle of winter. All the hike was beautiful! To bad me they don't have west and east roads .. other than that 2 night camping was wonderful!

The tent cabin was very clean. Had 4 electric outlets. Bathrooms and showers are in great condition. The camp store has a great selection of items and foods. Wild turkeys run thru campground:) We hike bear gulch and the balconies caves. Very cool.

The tent cabin was so beautiful. I felt like I was in a yurt. It was very clean and had two electrical outlets which I appreciated. The table lamp was rustic and very cute.

We stayed at 108 so it was super close to the store/visitor center and the bathroom and showers were not too far.

While we were there, raccoons were on the hunt for food as per our neighbors and they left foot marks on our car. So make sure you use the food storage bin and lock your car and roll up your windows.

The hikes were very beautiful and scenic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The only complaint we had was the price of the tent cabin. We think the price could we a be tad bit lower for how rustic it is.

A beautiful park. Our tent was clean, roomy and nicer than expected. It had a heater and a fan. We went on our hike early and it was GREAT! The store closes early so make sure you have food and drink to last overnight. My only complaint is the rest rooms aren't very inviting in the night, make sure you have flashlights.

We camped at 108 tent with electricity and water supply. No Wifi. The camp is with shadow. Some deers , rabbits wandered around our tent. The location is near the visitor center and very close to the nearby tent, so if you wish more private you better choose other tent. I enjoyed the camping experience very much.

I took my kids here for a mini-getaway before school started. We came for some peace (away from the city), to see the wonders of Pinnacles National Park (e.g., rock formations, condors, night sky, etc.), and for some family time without devices. It was not crowded , thanks to the summer heat. It got cool at night though. Kids loved the cabin tent (glamping almost). Crickets were super loud until the early morning hours. We hiked early but it still got pretty warm by 9:30am. Wonderful adventure!

i reserved a Cabin and never got a code emailed to me for the door. so i had to call and they told me a 5 digit code even though the code for the door only held 4 digits. we had no way to get in and had to sleep in the car until the next day when we left. Also, we brought food to cook on the campfire and was never warned beforehand to bring a camp stove because there were “no campfires aloud” so we wasted all the food we brought to cook. we wont be coming back.

Stayed in tent/cabin 108. Nice spot. Close to restrooms. Get up early and park at the bear gulch parking area. Must do the reservoir and rim trail loop. It was too hot when we were there to the High peaks loop but we will be back again for sure.

We really enjoyed staying in one of the new heated tent cabins at Pinnacles. Be sure to head to the condor viewing area, which has two telescopes to view the southeast ridge where condors frequently enjoy gliding in thermals in the evenings amongst the turkey vultures and ravens.

Pinnacles is gorgeous!! The Tent Cabin was clean, and worked well for us. Even has a broom for tidying up. Bathrooms were a bit of a walk, which is fine for me, but clearly won't work for everyone. Be aware - the food storage locker was too small for my Cooler, which is not the biggest cooler on the market. Seems like a unit designed for up to 4 humans would have a larger secure food storage unit.
I'm looking forward to my next trip to Pinnacles National Park.
