Amazing park! Some of the best hikes in northern California - awesome caves, beautiful rock formations, lots of wildlife!

The campsite was clean. Sadly the pool was closed for repair. The weekend shuttle bus was very welcome, though the line was 1 1/2 hours Saturday morning but easier later in the day. The bathrooms (running water) were clean, and the camp store was useful. Wifi near the camp store is an added benefit, though did nt use it

This place is gorgeous with plenty of great amenities like a pool and showers. The sites are nice and remote, some are close to their neighbours, but most have good space between them. Plenty of shaded areas and a lively little creek runs thru it. Central access to the park shuttle for convenience.

The host Lucy is amazing. Full of information and so welcoming. Check and out was seamless. The campground is well cared for. The store is well stocked. The sites are clean and spaced well enough apart. In the summer some sites lack shade, so be aware of that. The pool wasn't open in December, but it's very nice to take a dip when it is. They could use more chairs at the pool. Overall a fantastic stay!

Facilities were clean, although some camp sites offered no shade and very little privacy

Poison oak everywhere could barely get to the creek three feet away because so much poison oak was in the path. Also mosquitoes made a frequent appearance. And no real bathroom at this end of the campground so I hope you like Porta-pottys. Loved the book store and that there was a camp store and pool.

Nice quiet campground with camp store and swimming pool. The shuttle is not running (April 2024) and the road to the upper parking lots closes when thay are filled (about 8 am apparently. The road seems to open early afternoon for those willing thike later. The caaves are impressive though can be quite wet.

Had a wonder site! The campground was quiet and clean. Close proximity to great hiking trails. Even though the bathrooms were out of order, the porta johns were emptied frequently and there was a sink for hand washing.

Really wish the bathroom situation was better. Too few bathrooms for so many sites and I would have thought redoing the closed bathrooms would be more of a priority than tent cabins??

Well maintained campgrounds. Discovered that the shuttle to the trail head only runs on the weekends. But we managed to leave early enough to grab a parking spot at the trail head. The pool was great on hot days, but can get very crowded.

It was my first time camping at this National Park. I stayed in site 57 which has a park like setting beyond the parking space that is very private and inviting and there was water running in the creek. The wild turkeys came every morning as well as raccoons. Also, the sites on this loop do not see the endless parade of traffic that the rest of the campground sees because it is the furthest away from the store and shuttle. We were a group of 16 trailers. The staff at the well stocked store were very patience despite it being a holiday weekend. We hiked up to the high peaks during the week and saw few on the trails and in the caves. The weekend was a different story. The park is very clean and the bathroom on our loop always was picked up. The only showers are by the park store so be prepared for that. The rangers kept everything running smoothly. Don't miss the waterfalls in the caves.

Campsite 57 was a good site, with a few options for tent site setup. We chose the area near the picnic table to be further away from sites 56 and 58. Nice, flat and protected. The access to a fresh potable water spigot was perfect, bear box for the site near the picnic table made the site very convenient and somewhat private (as private as can be expected in a crowded campground). The site specs seemed nonsensical - 1 car only but 6 people? How is that possible? Does this mean that one of the cars needs to be parked in a long term parking by the store/visitor center? The store was packed with surprisingly high quality gear, convenience items as well as food. Amazing! Great schwag available in both store and visitor center. Rangers were awesome - shout out to Mercedes O'Grady who ensured park visitors' safety, following up on our report of having provided emergency care for a hiker on High Peaks Trail on 2/12/22. She followed up and alerted other Park Rangers and also followed up with us at our campsite. Mercedes also provided guidance on areas/sites for our SAR Technical Rescue Team training and connected our team with the appropriate means of obtaining permits to train at the NP. Also, special thanks to Craig, the shuttle bus driver, who contacted Ranger O'Grady to report on the dehydrated and fatigued hiker we helped at the top of High Peaks. Trails were well-maintained and very clean. Bathrooms were well-maintained and very clean. To a person, every maintenance person, Ranger, store and visitor center employee was gracious, welcoming and respectful. A wonderful experience - we'll be back.

Campground staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is very quiet with the sounds of coyotes and owls at night. On moonless nights stargazing is great due to how dark the sky is at the Pinnacles. Lots of great bird sounds in the morning. Some of the campsites are very nice and private feeling. Good hiking right from the campground.

We love this tiny park - the campground has some great private spots and some that are right on the road - the Campstore is fantastic
We enjoyed some great hikes in the area and biking looks like a fun option too when we return - we never made it to the two caves, which we will do on another trip - our highlight was the High Peaks trail - they are not exaggerating when they say steep and narrow!
