We were very impressed with the campground & the park. Loved all the different trails to hike throughout the park. Very glad we visited Pinnacles

Seriously under used. Run by a vendor so oark entrance still needs to be paid. Great campsite but shared water and while we were in our trailer the bathrooms facilities didnt seem to match capacity.

The campground was clean, spacious, and quiet. Hiking to the two caves were short and sweet. The only downside, which colored our entire trip, was our run-in with law enforcement. (Police maybe? I dont think it was a park ranger.) Our family was Onewheeling around the campground when an officer stopped us and told us that electric skateboards were not allowed on the property. Electric bikes, which go much faster than Onewheels, are permitted on the campground however. The officer insisted that my two 11yo twin girls carry their 28lbs boards back to the campsite, which was not nearby. Our interaction w the officer became verbally intense. We left the campground the very next day, 1 day early. Too bad our trip was marred by this experience.

This campground in California is in a very remote area. The campground location provided a good base for the many beautiful hiking trails. I would recommend using a bicycle to get from the campground to some trailheads as parking can be limited. In November, the weather was beautiful and mild. The camp store and adjacent ranger station/shop were well-run and very helpful.

Pinnacles is amazing and a must do, added benefit of having a pool on site for the kids to play after a day of hiking. I wish the store was open later to accommodate dinner and fire needs. Campground was clean. Signs are clear. Everyone is super helpful

Enjoyed the hiking and RV campground. Caves were a nice bonus i wasn’t aware of being there.

Beautiful Park, disappointing RV campground. They must be having sewer issues, because the RV dump station was locked and when you got the key to open it, the attendant asked you to estimate the number of gallons you were dumping, combined with the shower facility was "closed for construction" but there was no work being done. No showers were super disappointing, especially after the high cost of the campground: they should post this on their website! Additionally, water was sporadically placed in the RV section, and I felt like I had to enter someone else's site to fill my bottles (each site only comes with electricity). When I asked why the bathrooms were so far from the camp spaces, the worker told me that RV campers were expected to used the bathroom in their rigs which would be no problem if they offered sewer or didn't monitor the dump station so closely. Walking the campground though, the tent spaces looked nice, and the trail to access the park was quite convenient. This was the 35th National Park we visited and this campground's cost was significantly higher than all the others, and in no way commensurate with the amenities offered: Yosemite Valley prices without the valley views and facilities.

Excellent hiking trails and wildlife viewing.

Nice campsite with hookups. We backed up to the creek so had neighbors on 2 sides only. Electricity was so nice as it was in the 40’s at night. Love the High Peaks trail

Beautiful place. Could get really hot in the afternoon but the pool definitely helps. Getting to the trails is a little challenging because parking is limited so better start early in the morning.

The main mens restroom & shower at the campground was disgusting. The one flush toilet was held down with one bolt so the toilet rocked. You couldn't tell if the standing water around the toilet was leakage of black water or flooding from the showers. One shower had no doors - so much for any privacy. I avoided this bathroom as much as possible by using the handicap Port-a-toilet which was far less disgusting than the restroom. Also, there were no paper towels - which is ok because there was a dyson-like hand dryer. But of course, it was busted and never worked the whole week I camped there. The whole mens restroom & shower needs to be gutted and rebuilt.
I'd give the campground 3 stars. It needed more trees.
The one positive was a nice unheated pool to jump into after a long day of hiking.

The first two nights, we booked a tent site because all of the RV sites were taken. Although our trailer fit in the tent site, our truck did not, so we had to park it in the “day use” area- a bit of a trek. The next two nights, we were in an RV hookup site. A breaker tripped when we first hooked up; the staff were very quick to fix the issue. Campsites were well maintained. Hiking was hot the first couple of days. The next two, we waited until late afternoon, and had a much better, cooler experience. Great trails! There are free maps online and at the visitor center.

The campground is very pleasant and well kept.

Loved our stay and our grandkids really enjoyed the hikes. Only issue is the power - 30 amp power is ok but the grounding is inadequate, per the camp host. Half the time our surge protector would shut it down for protection, and generators aren’t allowed.

The campsite, 111, was very nice. At check-in we were told there was one water faucet to fill our RV, but actually there was one right at our site. Minor inconvenience. I understand paying for wifi, but $10 for each device? And it seems covid unsafe/unwise for the camp employee to have to take your phone and laptop and manually enter the password. We had 3 devices ($30) with no receipts given. Feels like employees are pocketing the money. Several other campers had same feelings. The BIGGEST problem was the dump was closed. We have a small RV and tanks. We had to leave one night early (employee said no refunds) because we were full. The woman employee was rude (actually told me to wait outside then left on a golf cart type vehicle without addressing the problem). Another employee told us they had been having issues and to go to Casa de Fruita, which is an hour away, to dump then come back. Totally unacceptable.

In Covid times, the site was well stocked with hand cleaner in the restrooms and plenty of TP. We had a great break in the weather with only heavy rain in the late evenings to early morning, making for outstanding morning and afternoon hikes.

This is a great park to explore for hiking trails and California condors. The campground is visited regularly by vultures, and more often than one might expect, condors too! If you enjoy hiking, then you can get some spectacular views of the condors too. The campground is small (which we prefer) and easy to get settled in the sites (they are are spacious). We will definitely be back here.

The Pinnacles Campground is great for RVs and Trailers. It has an electric hookup in all sites, one potable water source you can fill with, and a free dump you can use while you are there or on the way out.

You will likely want to drive a bit to get to trail heads but you can technically walk there via trails as well.
