The hiking was great, the pre-set up tent was clean and secured, however, the bathrooms were closed and super far away. No one knew why the bathrooms were closed. Also, in the morning, they close the access to the parking lots once they are full and the wesite said they had a shuttle service, but they actually do not, which was hard on my husbands hip to hike the 2 miles to just get to the base of the trailhead. They should update the website to reflect accurate information.

Easy self check-in, clean tent cabin, well-maintained bathroom, quick walk to campground store in case we needed anything. The night sky is really beautiful, I've never seen so many stars in my life. It gets very cold at night even in the summer, so bring the right supplies to keep warm when sleeping. There are lots of deer and raccoons on the campgrounds which is both amusing and cool.

The tent cabins were very cold at night, even in May. The cold air below the mattress makes the mattress cold all night. The campground should put some type of insulation under or around the mattress, or at least warn campers to bring extra blankets for underneath their bags.

It was our first time at Pinnacles NP and our first time staying in a tent cabin. Both the park and the camping was really fun!

the tent cabins are really handy - just bring sleeping bags and cooking stuff and it's so simple, light provided inside too (solar panels) but no electricity outlets.

We (myself and my teen daughter) stayed in the tent cabins and it was a great choice! It was a splurge for my bday trip and Im glad we did it. We are used to dispersed camping so this was a luxury to be able to prepare snacks without all the flying friends around. We didnt experience too much of the campground as we were out hiking most of the time but bathrooms were clean and the people at the camp store were nice. There was someone washing dishes in the sink, with 2 clearly posted signs to NOT do that right in front of herbut other than that everyone was respectful of the rules including quiet time which made it peaceful at night. We will def be back but during a time without a fire ban so we can use the fire pit.

We stayed in the tent cabins. The staff used strong cleaning chemicals that left noxious fumes for at least 36 hours and this triggered my friend's allergy symptoms. Please use a natural cleaning detergent made of vinegar, phosphorous-free dish soap or washing soda, and boiled or distilled water instead.

Great campground with great amenities. Small camp store, showers, clean bathrooms. Bear Gulch was our favorite hike! Short, fun and scenic! Condor Gulch to High Peaks Loop was wonderful as well.

The hiking was amazing; the nature, the beauty was amazing. The time of year was great too - not many people there.the canvas tents tho? SUCKED. do not rent them out. they are so big they simply don't warm up or cool down. we were freezing in them all night and when we went outside to pee, it was actually slightly less cold. the showers were fantastic, free and hot/warm but only one set behind the camp store that you basically have to drive to .. that was no good.the employees were meh .. one guy in the store and one lady who was from the Bacon ranch were awesome and a real treat to talk to .. but everyone else we ran into seemed to be annoyed we were there breathing their airwould i go back? most certainly, the beauty was unparalleled but I would sleep in a tent and not interact with the employees as much.wish my dog could come :/

Tent was very comfortable. Raccoons snuck into my car and tried to take my dinner.

Nice tent-cabin. Solar panel powered some lights. However, the solar powered oscillating fan appeared not to hold a charge as it would only stay on for about 2 minutes before turning off. If that fan had a good charge it appears by the pictogram on the fan that it would even charge another device via a USB.

There was a lot of wildlife in the campground- really neat to see. The pool was especially welcome after a long hot day of hiking. However the restrooms are under renovations so it would have been helpful to have been notified in advance that the only facilities available were port-a-potties. Id camp here again!

Get's cold at night but so nice during the day. The pool was open so it was refreshing to put my feet in after a day of hiking. We had good cell phone reception (AT&T) the whole time.

These tent cabins are great. They are obviously very new and even have solar charging for phones or other devices.

The high point of this park is to take the High Peaks loop trail, if feasible - great views, geology and, of course, condors.

Campsites were well maintained with clean and stocked restrooms. Did not use the showers, so cannot comment.

The cabin tents look brand new and are immaculately clean and spacious. We went in November for 2 nights in the middle of the week in the area with no hookups and there were only a few sites occupied. The tent cabins do have a solar panel for some low voltage lights indoors and outside the front door, and a fan for warm or hot days. There are also some tent cabins in another section where the rv's are which is more crowded and noisy, but they have electric power and a small heater for cold times. The hikes were great, especially getting to go through the caves.

This is a beautiful, quiet campground. We rented one of the tent cabins. It was very spacious and the beds are reasonably comfortable. It did get just as cold as outside, which I didn’t expect, so you really do need to have lots of warm gear. Would definitely return.

We didn't receive a handicap discount on our two night canvas tent rental. The showers are in sad condition with long wait times.

Tent cabin was nice and clean when we arrived. The park was wonderful, we will be back well the caves reopen. I hiked 7.4 miles our first day and 11.4 on the second day, only thing is the showers at the Pinnacles Campground could use an update.

The Pinnacles tent cabin was the nicest tent cabin my family has ever stayed in! Spacious with enough room to roll out a yoga mat or two. Screen door and three windows for ventilation. We try to go every spring to Pinnacles for the gorgeous wildflowers.
