Site 33 butts up to another site on the other side of the loop (you can see it in the campsite picture, the picnic table on the other side of the big tree), but we didn't have any issues since we hung out with our friends at another site. The site is right next to a field that kids played in. The closest bathrooms to this site are in an actual building (not portapotties) and are very clean. Some friends who camped in a higher numbered site said they had portapotties in their loop.

Site 33b had alil day time shade. Bring a pop up if you plan on being at the site during the day. Cell service was good. No problems there. Pretty close to the restrooms

Campground was basic grab firewoood in town the one they have at the store doesnt burn well. Bathrooms are being worked on so we had to use portapots so prepare a head check to see if construction us complete. Pool was a plus to cool off when it got hot. Hiking is fun besides biking its the only thing to do in area. Bring sunblock and hat there is very little shade

What an excellent National Park to hike! The maps are accurate, the shuttle bus is convenient (if needed) and the trails are well marked. We camped for 2nights and the campsite bathrooms were well kept. Just remember that you are 30 plus miles from the nearest city, so pack accordingly. The park store has limited space and supplies. But the employees are very nice and helpful and friendly.

Many of the campsites at Pinnacles are very large and well seperated. We had enough room to easily fit our friends from two other campsites around the campfire at night. Our picnic table was also large and could be moved to be in the shade during the day.

We had a wonderful weekend at Pinnacles. The nights were cold at the beginning of March but the weather was perfect for hiking and we saw lots of condors.

We were at site 33. When you're facing the site, you'll see from left to right: space for 2 tents, bear box for food storage, fire pit, picnic table, parking space (can fit up to 3 vehicles) and then space for another tent. Also, between our site and the site behind was a tree canopy with another picnic table under it. We were able to utilize that table because no one was camping at that site. Although we did not have shades, I do like our site because our tent area hidden by the bushes compare to many other sites. You might see a lot of rabbit poop, so make sure to bring a tarp or a tent footprint if you have one. They are small though, so it might not matter to you.It is about a minute walk to the dumpsters, and maybe 3 minutes walk to the restrooms. Restrooms have flush, and running water with soap in dispenser to wash your hands. They have plenty of toilet paper, and the campground is well maintained. It is maybe a 15-minute walk to the park general store. Watch out for the raccoons trying to steal your foods at night. The baby raccoons were very cute; just do not go near them. : D There was many wild animals roaming around during the day especially early morning. Unfortunately, we went during the wrong weekend because it was so hot, 100+ Fahrenheit. We did not get to do the actual hike to go see the Pinnacles rock formation. : ( I hope to come back at a time when it is much cooler. We did not get to scout around the campground much, but the site across from us, site 32 was surrounded by trees. It was a well-shaded area, and might be able to fit three tents as well as three cars. From what I know, I would definitely try to get site 32 or 33 the next time I come back. I heard there was also a creek nearby, so that is something I will have to check out on my next visit.Overall, I thought it was a good campsite and spot. Our only major issue was the heat, so I guess try not to go during July and August if you cannot stand the heat.

So awesome, although people need to know to see amazing sites you need to hike. We hiked to both sets of caves, saw condors and amazing rock formations. I was not expecting this magnificent experience.
