Loved the campground! The site was gorgeous, with lots of shade. Our site was booked for 2 vehicles, but there really was not enough room for both and we had to squash together. It wasn't a side by side area as most of them are, but rather a long thin area to accomodate our 2 vans. Mine is big van, good thing my friend's was a tiny van. Side by side would have been a better option for us.The free wifi at the store worked fairly well on Thursday but by Friday, with more people, it was impossible to get even a text out. I have T-Mobile and had 1 bar by the pool, which allowed me to do everything I needed to do, even a phone call. My friend was on the Verizon network and didn't have any reception at all.It would be nice to have a few chairs by the pool. There are 7 lounge chairs, that people commandeer, even if they are swimming most of the time and there are no chairs. I did bring my own chair on the second day, but it was a long walk with a heavy chair. Alternatively a bench, or some place to put or hang towels would be helpful. The wood chips are just not a good surface to leave a towel!

Pinnacles was great. The only downside is the most aggressive raccoons Ive ever encountered at a campground. The hike to the reservoir and bear gulch cave was a hi-light. Just know when the sun goes down the raccoons come out.

Great spot. Tons of space. Enough privacy. Close enough to restrooms which are super clean.

Campground location (most of the sites have trees surrounded) and facility (with camp store, showers, and etc.) are fine. But the quiet hours (10pm-6am) is kind of a joke. We had two or three groups not too far away from our site talking loudly into midnight. Not sure if its realistic to have some enforcement of the rules, but passing mid night is just too much

Pinnacles is a gorgeous destination which offers spectacular hikes, views, and adventures. The camp store and book shop are filled with any necessity you can think of, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The added bonus of freshly renovated bathrooms work flushing toilets, a dump station for travel trailers, and actual showers make this place rich with all of the best amenities. Dont forget that there is also a pool! Weve only visited in early spring and havent ever had warm enough temps to take advantage of it. We are so thankful to have discovered this incredible gem of a place!

The campground was easy to navigate and was quite. The restrooms nearest us were relatively old. They were OK but definitely had that 30+ year old feeling. They were clean, just old. The Campground was close to the Bear Gulch Visitors center and, with an early start, you can park at the Bear Gulch Visitors center for most hikes.

We had an awesome short weekend stay in February. We were in a campervan so didn't use the facilities much but our campsite was nice, clean and spacious. We were surprised that we couldn't get to the main trailhead easily with backed up traffic and full parking lots the first day, so the second day we left super early to beat the crowds. The Bear Gulch Trail was a really nice hike. We also appreciated the convenience of the camp store for last minute purchases of items we had forgotten. It was well stocked with just about everything we might need.
