The hikes here were very beautiful especially the Old Pinnacles hike to Balconies cave. However, there were a lot of raccoons by the site that were clearly not afraid of people. Next time I will get a regular site instead of a large group site because we were next to two school age groups that were playing baseball with pinecones near where our car was parked and the other group was really loud starting at 6am.

We were at site 121, whose signage was not great, and took a while to find. The location is wonderful, set near the creek, a little below the road, and really feels far away from most of the other sites. Parking is a little catch as catch can for all the group sites, and you will be a decent distance from your car. Overall, a great experience for our 20 person group.

Great national park with amazing wildflowers, hikes, birds, and exotic natural beauty.

Would have been a 5 but the racoons were too smart for us. They were able to open our lockable crate and ate all our non pareshables. Bought what we needed ast store and we know how much that stuff costs. Also no firewood available after 5 when the store closes. Wood should be available through the camp host. Other than that the park is great!

The campgrounds were in pristine condition and all the facilities were easily accessible. Most folks were wearing masks and remaining cautious in the midst of COVID so overall we all felt very safe while camping.

Alltrails and other apps assume you are starting at the park entrance so the length for each trails is slightly off. I'd add 1.5 miles to any hike if you are leaving from the campground.
