Desperate need for Porto-potties! On our second night in the C loop the C loop bathroom was flooded with overflow from all 6 toilets. The only other options were a long walk away much further than I experienced at all other natl park campgrounds Ive stayed at for 30+ years

We stayed in tent cabin #26 for 2 nights in March. We absolutely loved everything about Pinnacles!! The tent cabin was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The site was a nice size and well maintained. There was no water spigot at the site, but the restroom had a spigot and was close by. The restrooms were also very clean and had running water and soap. There were no lights in the restroom so we had to bring a headlamp, but that helped the park stay very dark and the night skies were astounding!! The campground had a variety of wildlife that we enjoyed watching, and protecting our food from! The raccoons were pretty persistent but they didnt beat us. We hiked the Bear Gulch Lower Caves and Upper Caves on our first day. We brought good headlamps and it was a fun and exciting scramble under fallen boulders, through streams, and past waterfalls. The next day, we hiked up to the Condor Gulch viewing area early in the morning. We saw a couple of condors up above, so we continued up the High Peaks Trail and it was an adrenaline rush!! The Steep and Narrow section was scary but thrilling. We felt so accomplished when we made it to the top! The best part was the mesmerizing view of the entire park with several condors soaring close overhead. Our family fell in love with Pinnacles NP and cant wait to visit again!!

We loved our tent cabin at Pinnacles, felt lucky to have the added coverage during a huge rainstorm. Only complaint is the parking space completely flooded during the rain at our site. Otherwise we had a fabulous experience. We especially loved the conscience of campsite showers during our stay!

Tent cabins are spacious and clean. We had #26 which was a nice location - backed up to large, old oaks and with privacy from other sites. Staff at the campstore are very friendly and helpful. Limited provisions in the store though.

The campsite was excellent - the tent cabin was spacious, clean, and dry during a rainstorm. We saw so much wildlife around the campgrounds! The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We will definitely be back!

The campground is clean and well layed out. It is nice to have the option of tent cabins. The main hiking area trail head is 2 miles up the road, and there is not much parking so arrive early! Our tent was solar , and lost power around 6 pm, so bring your own flashlights and lanterns. It was quite cold in the cabin, not heat so bring lots of bedding. The bathrooms are nice, but a shelf would be handy to put a towel or cup on. Overall a great experience and we'd love to return.

It was a great campsite. The cabin was very nice. It even had lights. I highly recommend bringing warm blanks. I have gone camping in the winter before. I didn't take into account that a cabin isn't insulated like a tent. Be sure to bring an extra warm sleeping bag in the winter, and blankets as well. I'd love to come back in the fall or spring.Great hiking. Clean bathrooms. Highly recommend.

We loved our Tent Cabin! The beds were comfortable, we sat on the porch and had our chips and salsa before dinner. The other campers were considerate. The bathrooms were clean. It was a great stay. The only negative was that we needed one more day! I guess we will back soon.

Pinnacles national park is an excellent place to view Condors and many other species of birds. Or just great hiking trails for all skill levels. Huge variety of terrain. Camp ground was clean and well taken care of. The staff was very helpful and informative. Much other wildlife as well. Nov is a great time to go as temps are much cooler and not as many people.

Stayed in tent cabin 26. Very clean and mattress comfortable. Freezing at night in January so bring lots of blankets! Site did not get sun or warm up until after 10 am. Sites across the road from us got sun earlier. Be sure to get to the campground before 4:30 if you want to have wood for a fire. It must be ordered from the camp store by that time for delivery to your site after 5pm. Enjoyed our trip despite the cold nights. Nice, mostly easy hiking trails to the caves with easy parking midweek in January.

Of note, there was ONE operational women's shower for the entire campground. Quite hours and campfire ban were not enforced. Other than that, it was great being so close to some awesome hiking. The dinner-hour turkey vultures (50+!!) circling overhead was an amazing show.

We stayed in a non-electric cabin for two nights. We usually tent camp, but we wanted to try something different. The cabin was magical! When we drove up I thought, “That’s going to be too small for four giants!” (The runt of my litter is almost 6 feet tall; the rest of us are taller.) But the cabins are larger on the inside than the outside. Our cabin was clean. The beds have thick mattresses and are not uncomfortable. There was even a solar-powered fan and a couple lights, which we appreciated because it was over 100 degrees.

The swimming pool was delightful. (See note about weather above.)

The staff in the store and around the park were friendly and helpful and the prices were not as bad as in other parks. The bathrooms were clean.

Pinnacles is beautiful. Definitely go hiking, but even if you just hang out in the campground there are quail and bunnies everywhere, and we even saw a fox!

Want to go to a national park that isn’t overcrowded, where the people are friendly, where your dog can camp with you? This is your spot.

Tent cabins are attractive, sunny, nice ventilation. There can be a noise issue when nearby sites exceed max campers and party all night. That said, a stay in a tent cabin is a lovely experience with excellent proximity to the park.
