Pinnacles was amazing, but they arent prepared for the number of visitors they have. This campground is run by an outside company. The store ran out of ice and lots of other things. Lines were long there. The NPS store was small but cute, as they usually are. The parking lot was large at the campground, but if you wanted to hike, you couldnt get to the other lots because they filled up too fast and the shuttle wasnt running. The campground is hot, hot, hot, even in early April. No trees on the side we were on, and it was pretty miserable even though it was only the mid-70s. The kids liked the warm showers. The toilets were clean. They need more water at the group sites. Overall, a beautiful place but they need to learn how to handle the crowds better.

Great group sites, very large with good toilets and access to water. The group sites lack shade as they are very open and could be noisy with many large groups but we had no trouble. Without shade a sunny day would be hot! Great location to walk to the trails.

The group sites are fantastic! Large, plenty of parking and close to the trailheads. Potable water is a walk from some of the campsites.

Excellent campground- they have hot water showers and super clean place
