My overall experience at the campground was fair. There are definitely some positives: the group camping area is very large, beautiful, with plenty of shade and a good sense of privacy. However, there are also some major drawbacks. The restrooms are extremely far from the site, and getting water which should be a basic convenience is also very difficult. Access to the tents and tables is not easy, since you need to use either a steep stair or a ramp that feels unsafe. On my last night, I actually fell and sprained my ankle, and now I cannot walk properly.Because of these issues, I feel the campground is missing some of the basics that would make the experience both safe and comfortable.

Raccoons gotten in our tent. We had no food in the tent. The raccoons need to be eradicated, even if it requires shutting down the campground for a while.

Pinnacles is wonderful, truly great. Hiking, climbing and exploring. Be sure to do the high peaks trail.

Group site was awesome. Plenty of space and privacy. They could use more bathrooms, especially for the group sites. Showers were clean, campgrounds were clean. I would come back

119 G excellent site. My new BFF Isaac posted a sign telling would be hikers to stay out of the campsite, that it was NOT a trailhead, so to turn around and not cut through as it seemed so promising as a trail!! Thereupon it was a lovely private site with a babbling brook and deer the only action we saw the rest of the time. One issue, tho. The neighbors were loud, and, even tho mostly not visible, their happy campfire chat was largely audible oh well. That was ok but the happy no, hysterically happy passel of SCREAMING 9 year olds were really tough. Their imbecile parents didNOTHING to stop themFrom screaming at the tipOf their little lungs till 10 pm, holding the rest of us hostageTo their best night ever. WTF.

We love our time at this camp. It's beautiful there everywhere you look. The facility is clean and well-looked after.

Amazing time at Pinnacles under full moon. Moon was so bright and lack of trees coverage meant you could easily hike and bike around after dark. Camp site was clean and in great shape. Only complaint is the lack of signage meant lots of day use hikers marched thru are campsite trying to find the trail at far end of the camp ground

This is an awesome campground. It has potable water, firewood for purchase (when fires are allowed), bathrooms with running water and soap, plenty of campsites, shade, parking for each campsite, fire pits, picnic tables, AND a little shop where you can pick up things you may have forgotten or may need, including fire sticks to help folks light fires. The camp hosts are fantastic and very helpful, but please please come prepared and do not make your problem their situation ("I forgot my _____ so can you break some rules and please let me ____?"). Trails are well populated on the weekend, so if you want a map, get to the shop/trailhead/etc early and get one before they run out. Would LOVE to come back here anytime! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Excellent spot at the end of the road. Quiet and relatively private and super large for big groups.
