Great campground! Good location, clean, close to cool thing to do. Even has swimming pool! Campsites are not equal, some are too small and too close to the road, some are larger and more secluded. Some are shaded, some are in direct sun all the day (which could be a big problem during warmer months). We were in 17 A, which was great! Large, next to water spigot, close, but no too close to the restrooms, and a short walk to showers and the poll.Warning: the entire C-loop, while located in more secluded area and has a lot of shade, lacks normal restrooms. Only port-a-potties, without running water; which is a deal breaker for me. It is also too far away from the showers and swimming pool, you may take a rather long walk or just bike/drive to them.Showers: clean, free, but only two shower stalls per gender, which may cause lines during popular times.Weather: I don't know how people manage to camp here in summers. Way too hot. We were there between October and November, and it was still too hot during the day (up to 29C or 84F - yay, swimming pool!), but also rather cold at night (6C or 43F). But any later than that and you may get into rainy season which is not too pleasant either. May be we should try spring.Problem: raccoons. No even like that: RACCOONS! We were aware of them and were trying to do all the right things (keep food and garbage inside the car or animal-proof storage provided, but we did not expect them to start ransacking our car when we literally were unpacking in the evening. They are mostly active during sunset and sunrise.Reservations are hard to get for the weekends, so plan in advance. Enjoy!

Nice access to rest of park. Working showers and running water. Some sites, like ours, are pretty hot in the afternoon with the direct sunlight. Coming back to that after a hike when all I wanted was a nap was less than ideal lol

Condor gulch is a great hike. We saw a total of 5 Condors.

Everything was fine, nice clean restroom, quite at night time, but no shade at my campground spot. Thanks

The campground has sites with electrical connections, primitive sites without power or water, and tent cabins. We did have wi-fi. The park is updating the infrastructure with sewers and additional tent cabins, but at the time there appears to be only one bathroom. Perhaps a there is a second that I didn't see. The main attractions are hiking and rock climbing, but there is also a park museum and a swimming pool. We were there in mid-January, and the lady bugs were migrating. Large clumps of them could be seen on the bridge near the museum/ranger station.

The campground does nothing to promote dark skies even though this is a supposedly a dark sky site. Why do campers need outdoor lights on all night on their campers?

The Bear Gulch caves and hikes were exceptional, the swimming pool a BIG fun surprise, fabulous night sky viewing, no generator policy (they do have electric hookup sites)wonderful.

It was great to visit Pinnacles. The people working there are nice and HELPFUL!
Ron helped a lot guiding us and helping with the trailer. Rosa was fantastic giving advice of everything and Olga at the store, helpful and all of them very informative! The little problem was with the showers. They are not working great. I believe Ron can fix them too if he had the opportunity. I recommend this place!

Now, that I have been there, I am better able to select a campsite.
Because the park is small, the people were super friendly to one another. Maybe it is because we were all thrilled to be out of the house.

Awesome spot with great amenities including clean bathrooms, showers, and a convenience store attached to the visitor center. Campsites are flat, spacious, and comfortable. The campground has trails into the heart of the park or you can take the short 3-5 minute drive. We will definitely be back.
