I stayed in one of the tent cabins and had such a great experience. I truly appreciated how clean, well-maintained, and comfortable everything was. The cabin had electricity, which was a huge plus for charging my devices (headlamps for Balconies cave!) and lights at night. It made the whole experience feel much more secure and relaxing. The restrooms and showers were honestly better than I expected for a campground. Hot water, clean facilities, and great water pressure made it easy to stay refreshed after hiking all day. Everything felt thoughtfully set up and cared for, and I never had to worry about sanitation or access to what I needed. This was my first time at Pinnacles Campground and it was both safe and welcoming. Ill absolutely be coming back maybe even staying longer next time!

We stayed in the tent cabin which was very roomy and convenient. Our family had a great time, the staff was great. They have a shuttle service in the spring which is nice since parking is hard to come by. We would go back .

We knew Pinnacles was not a dog-friendly NP, but were okay with it since we (family of 6 with 3 dogs) had 2 tent cabins and were planning to just try winter camping for the first time. The cabins each had a small heater, fan and weak lamp. The first night there was freezing cold and the other tent had a rip in the canvas, but I don't think that patching it up would have warmed anything up considerably. Both tents had 2 outlets, but after the first night, none of the electricity worked in one tent. Ours had one working and one temperamental outlet. Basically, the attraction for the tent cabins was the electricity, so the lack of it in one of the tents was a huge loss. Of all the NPs that we've visited (about 30 so far), Pinnacles was the most disappointing; there isn't much to do besides hiking. There was not a scenic route to drive along. And the tent camps were a waste of money. The only reason the trip was saved was that our group was happy to be together.

The campground was clean and well layed out. The area I was in was more for campers or rvs. I was in Tent Cabin 107. Close to the entrance, the showers and the camp store. There are campsites further away that are excellent for tents. The Tent Cabin was clean and large. The fan and the heater were needed as the nights were just below 40 degrees but the days were sunny and well into the 80's. The heater is limited on what it can do at those low temperatures. I flew in with limited supplies for camping but I loved being there. You can easily get to the main hiking trails by hiking 2.5 miles are driving to the Bear Gulch Visitor Center. It just depends on how much you want to do. The camp store had a lot of items. WiFi is available at the store and in some areas of the campground. I was able to connect at my tent cabin. It's a nice place to visit and relax.

Very primitive compared to the other national parks weve been too. Though I guess thats expected from being the newest NP. The campground was really good though. Clean, store well stocked. Campground had a pool, which was unusual, but great for the kids, especially since it was 90+ degrees.

The tent cabins were basic but very functional. Check in was easy and Pat (the nice lady) at the counter of the Campground store was wonderful! Gave us lots of info and was very welcoming! The World needs more folks like Pat! We will be back!

Parking fills up quick at the park so it was awesome staying at the campground. Cabin was clean and nicer than expected given the traffic it gets. The nights got pretty cool and the heater kept the inside tolerable, but Im glad I packed extra blankets. Cant wait to go again!

The tent cabin did not have electricity. I had to reset the circuit breakers. Neighbors were very noisy and no noise limits were enforced.

It's okay but crowded.

We stayed here in late October. Site #107 is right next to #108 with zero barriers/separation; fortunately we stayed during the week, avoiding the weekend crowds and we had no "neighbors". Weather had cooled from the summer heatwaves without being freezing cold overnight the cabin tents were comfortable inside using the fan and heater included. Several reviewers noted that the space heater isn't enough to keep warm during the winter so bring your own or buy extra gear from the store (very well stocked with anything you may need/forgotten to bring) if you're staying in colder months.

Stayed in one of the tent cabins and it was an amazing experience! Super clean and pleasant. The campground felt safe and welcoming, and had easy access to trails and amenities. Highlight of the stay was stargazing at night. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at Lassen Volcanic campground. We stayed in a cabin tent. It was clean and very nice. We did get cold overnight but nothing we couldn't handle. (There is a heater, but we didn't plug it in to use.). Loved the fire and roasting marshmallows. It was so nice being in close proximity to the park. There is no other close accommodations. Highly recommend.

The tent cabin was so cute, perfectly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The Adirondack chairs, fan, and heater were especially sweet.

Beautiful, well-maintained trails. Knowledgeable rangers and campground staff. Bathrooms were accessible and clean. We loved our stay!

Fun! Hiked the balconies cave during light rain which made the experience so much fun. Felt like adventurers climbing through the cave tunnels and wading in the waters.

The showers are coin operated and one of them was out of order. There was no mention of the need to bring quarters on the website. We paid for a cabin tent with electricity but the heater did not work. We paid $7 for WiFi for 24 hours but we couldn’t even watch a video on Instagram with it. Waste of money.

I enjoyed my stay at Pinnacles NP. The staff I met were very helpful and courteous, especially on check in. The tent cabin I stayed in was clean and orderly. I appreciate the additional cleaning that is done these days and it shows. There was, at first, a fairly strong scent of the cleaner but that went away on short time. I plan to return to PNP and enjoy the facilities again!!

Wifi was down ??. Shower was very way too hot. Swimming pool should be open later than 6:00pm. But we still love the place !

Tent sites were great, well maintained and equipped. Tent cabins were super cute and clean. The whole campground is wonderful, quiet, and quaint. You can purchase WiFi that works close to the visitors center but otherwise you’re off the grid, which is nice. The WiFi is reasonable if you need it. The hikes are relatively easy and offer some off-trail opportunities as well with rock scrambles. There’s also good night hiking. Contrary to other parks this is less visited, smaller and quieter. I hope it stays that way. I will definitely go back.
