This was quite a bit more expensive than a typical NP campground due to private ownership, so I expected nicer facilities. Bathroom cleanliness was okay but not great. The showers are free despite their pre arrival email confusion. Firewood was $20 so we skipped doing one. Most disappointing was the pool being closed and still not planning to open for several more weeks, even though the website stated 4/1 open pending weather. There seemed to be a maintenance problem and the whole area was overgrown with weeds. It just didn't look like a priority. Unfortunately it was super hot two of the days we were camping - I'm sure plenty of folks would have loved to get in the pool. This is the main reason we stayed.

Nice campground. Overall great experience with a class A rv. Note there is only 30amp electrical hookups and there is only water near some of the sites so you will need to pull up to one of the water spouts to fill up your water tank. Or come with water tank filled before you settle in your site. Dump station at entrance.

Amazing Park. Quiet, dark and beautiful! Even has a swimming pool. First National Park we have been to with a swimming pool!

some spots for camping have no shade. Bring a canopy for the picnic table during summer.hot during summer. Pool is really helpful to cool down by 12-4pm!Pool hours was 11am-5:30pm on june/2024.when I was there, the pool was closed on a Thursday for maintenance.During hot days, plan to hike as early as possible to be on a shade spot by 11am. store is good and has ice.showers are good, sometimes can be dirty if is almost time to clean up. Nature Center has a great video about the park. Staff were nice.

Campground was nice but the extensive road repair activity and associated closings and delays really detracted from my overall experience.

Beautiful time of year to visit the Pinnacles. So green and wild flowers in bloom. The High Peaks Trail and then over to the Reservoir and Caves is so much fun. Along our hike we had the amazing experience of seeing a Condor perched on a large rock formation about 100 feet from us then it spread its 9 foot wings and just lofted up and floated around above us for a few minutes then soared down Condor Gulch. Sent chills down our spines at how majestic this bird is. Camping is great whether in an RV (like we did) or tent camping. Store is very well equipped in case you forget anything or want something fun to do at night. We bought the National Parks version of Scrabble and had fun testing our knowledge. We feel so lucky to have the Pinnacles Nat'l Park so close to our home In San Luis Obispo. If you need cell service, spend the $7 for 24 hour service. Otherwise just do without it for the time your there.

several issues.
1) I called ahead to ask about wi-fi availability, and was told that it was available. Although one could purchase wi-fi, it didn't actually reach the camping area with a good enough signal to support zoom.
2) although I paid for an RV space because I wanted to hook up to the electrical, the electrical would not accept a simple 3-prong extension cord, so I never received the benefit of the electrical hookup, and I couldnot run my heater in the very cold weather we had.
3) there are very few bathrooms and they are quite a walk to get to.
4) there are very few garbage bins, and they are not conveniently in the campground, but instead at the very edge of it.
altogether these factors seriously impacted my enjoyment of the trip

Showers were not hot, barely lukewarm. The person in the store was a bit rude.

We had rain on several days during our visit but on sunny days we enjoyed walking the Bench Trail and the trail going out to and beyond the old farmstead.
Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on either of these trails so we had to take our hikes separately and could only walk the campground together.

Great weather and camping!

Crappy campground and services, way out of the way, and no decent hikes from the campground. It was super crowded (not sure why) and we could not buy firewood when we arrived at dusk as the campground employee didn't seem to want to go get any for us.
