Upon arrival there was no host present or any way to contact them. The placards for site reservations had not been updated for my date of arrival, so by the time I arrived around 7:30pm, someone thinking the site was available had already set up camp. There were no other sites vacant so I ended up leaving and returned home. I had reservations for two night and basically was out the fee, the gas and time it took to drive to the campsite. I will never reserve this again during the summer months.

Deckers was great, very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms smelled great, no bad odors and well maintained. Best yet was campsites hosts. They were great. Already making plans for 2025.

From the description of "no shade" I expected the campground not to have many trees. I was pleasantly surprised; lots of nice trees there.I reserved to bring my 30'RV, but sold it the week before so we brought tents. I am so glad. I would not recommend this campground for RVs; tents are much better. The vault toilets were kept clean and the camp host was very nice and personable. There was a fire ban so we were unable to have a campfire. That was a disappointment, but it was a multi-county ban so nowhere else would have been any different. The proximity to the river was great. Saw lots of anglers pulling out large brown trout. All-in-all, a nice campground.
