Great little campground near lots of recreation. Camp host was attentive and helpful. Sites were clean and restrooms were clean and stocked.

The reservation process was really simple and we had no issues with obtaining our site as reserved. We did experience a lot more bugs than we are typically use to experiencing when we camp. Which was awkward and bothersome. We arent sure if it had something to do with the sites location or the time of season (July) but the horse flies and caterpillars where invasive to say the least. Not sure if there are steps the owners of the site can take to minimize this, but it might be worth looking into. Also, there was high grass all over our site which made it difficult to fully utilize the space for tents, outdoor activities, and games. The fire pit appeared to be newer and was well maintained. It is a quiet and beautiful place with lots of shade and rock formations. Close to Deckers and the rivers. The vaulted bathrooms are small and were not cleaned out periodically through out our stay so being close to the Deckers convenient store with a flushable bathroom was definitely a bonus. Overall, the site was nice and we had a great time. Recommend for parties needing 2 or less tents.

This campground is close to a major road. So about 5am expect to be awaken by steady traffic. There was also lots of caterpillars all over. Must be an infestation. Other than that, we had a fun time.

Not the hosts' fault but there was extremely loud trance like music coming from somewhere outside the campground from 9:30pm to 6:30am. We left a day early so we could get some sleep. Also the sites are very sloped.

Superb site with pad sites of reasonable size and plenty of open space to explore. Our site was on the CO 126 side and had minor traffic noise, but mostly during the day. Great for tent camping, especially, which is what we were looking for. And lots to explore for the kids. Water supply is fresh and fairly convenient - we walked to and from. The trail from the campground is gradual and friendly for any skill level, but it is very popular with mountain bikers, so watch out if you are hiking with little ones tagging along. We look forward to staying here again. NOTE: As some other reviewers have said, the map showing the pad sites and amenities is inaccurate, especially for the restrooms, garbage, and water. The pad sites are fairly accurate.

We camped here with three young kids (5, 3, and 1) and it worked well. The two older kids enjoyed climbing on rocks and doing some of the short hikes that are accessible directly from the campground. This is accessible to any vehicle. We were tent camping, but many of the sites can accommodate at least mid-size RVs. We camped here Wednesday and Thursday nights and the campground was reasonably quiet. We would stay here again.

The campground was really clean and quiet, and the spaces are pretty spread out (we stayed at site #9). The camp hostess, Ruth, was super friendly and our stay was wonderful!

I had a very pleasant experience camping at Kelsey Campground, Site #5. I was there during the week, not the weekend, and there were only a few other campers. It was quiet, clean and the camp host was present on and off throughout the week. I enjoyed the access to the Little Scraggy trail especially. The "Loop" trail that goes from the campground to the Little Scraggy trail is gorgeous, winding through a large meadow full of wildflowers.
I am assuming the experience would be different during the weekend. I arrived on Monday, July 5, and there were some obnoxious campers present in a couple of sites nearby with large 5th wheel trailers, running generators, playing loud music and generating clouds of marijuana smoke. They left by mid-afternoon, and I assume they were left over from the weekend/July 4. Everyone that camped during the week was quiet and friendly.
FYI - if you have solar, Site #5 is situated perfectly for getting sun on your roof panels!
