We had a beautiful campsite. Peaceful with lots of shade. The lake is a bit of a hike away, but definitely doable and worth it. Gorgeous lake with spots to sit on the lake edge and fish or picnic. No motorized boats allowed so it also is peaceful. Good for canoeing, paddle boarding or fishing with a belly boat. We will definitely go back.

Well maintained, quiet, friendly host and tons of fun things to do! Hiking, atving, fishing, paddle boarding and the infamous Bishop Castle is a short commute. Will be back!

Beautiful campground, but sites vary with privacy or openness. Access to the lake is outside the campground and you have to pay (a donation to a church) to park. You have to carry your kayak about 150 ft down the boat ramp to reach the water. It is a small, but beautiful lake and the surrounding mountains make it especially pretty.

This site was very unlevel. It had a nice view of the pit toilet. On the positive side the pit toilets were always spotless.

Would like to see a dump station and a fresh water hydrant that could be used to fill an RV fresh water tank added to this park.

The campsites are beautiful, and the lake was full of trout and the camp hosts were above and beyond friendly and kept the bathrooms very clean.

Campground was lush and green, short walk to the lake, sites were well maintained and the toilets were cleaned regularly and didnt smell bad. Our sites backed up to a grove of aspens and evergreens, we felt like we were in the woods. (Sites 26 & 27) Camp host was nice upon arriving and left us alone the rest of the time. Will add this one to our yearly rotation.Note, gas station is 30min away, nothing in town if you forgot an item or like to fill up your truck before hooking up the camper to go home.Also- fill your water tank before arriving and Firewood is $10/bundle, so bring your own.

I love a clean bathroom! Thank you to the camp hosts for working to care for the entire campground, including keeping the facilities clean and pleasant (might be a little strong) to use. I appreciated having clean water at the spigot nearby. Although I didn't need it, I liked having the option to plug in if necessary. My site was clean and ready for me, the campground was quiet, the views were amazing and the stairs down to the river were easy to find and use.

Beautiful location, we didn't know what to expect, so very happy with the entire campsite. Friendly and attentive camp hosts. Very nicely kept. Our campsite number 026 did have a little bit of a slope to it, even jacking the trailer up all the way, we couldn't get level front to back. But other than that everything was great!

Very nice campground with comfortable, level sites. I had just enough trees to be comfortable and not too many to let my starlink work. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a very nice trail down to the lake where I caught fresh rainbow trout on dry flies. Had a nice campfire and met a few very friendly people here. I didnt use any of the other facilities so cant comment on them. Overall a great place to stay.

Hard to find campground.

This site is flat with good shade. The one next to it has better views of the lake. There is no cell service. The description of the electric sites say they have 15 A electric service, there is actually 30 A at every pedestal.

We had a wonderful 4 day visit at Lake Isabel. Our campsite looked great. We enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking. We saw many deer which was a treat. I was sorry to see that the general store and restaurant was closed and up for sale.

The campground hosts and management were wonderful this season! They were friendly, helpful and quickly resolved issues (i.e. loose dogs). The campground, camp sites and toilets were always very clean. After our experience at La Vista 2 years ago, we didn't think we would ever camp there again. Now we are glad we did.

Bathrooms were never cleaned. It was gross and disgusting to sit down to potty. Camp host are lazy. they dont deserve a paycheck.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
