La Vista Campground is the best of everything for camping. We camped in a pop-up trailer, and it was peaceful and quiet with lovely views. No bright lights, no loud radio, no loud TV sounds, no cell service -- just peace and quiet. Eccess to Lake Isabel and hiking trails. Plenty of room between campsites. Lots of clean porta potties.

This place is beautiful! Its quiet. Lake Isabel is lovely and it wasnt crowded at all. I should have brought a SUP to float around on. Its dog friendly (leashes required). The spots are not too close together in my opinion. There are plenty of restrooms around the area and they were cleaned every morning. Fire wood was available for purchase on site, which came in handy. The host for our site wasnt there during our stay but another host made sure we were good. There were lots of trails to wander. Some were next to a stream in a beautifully wooded area with picnic sites spread out along the trail. We definitely want to come back! FYI, we stayed in #26, which was right across from a restroom, fairly close to the lake. It was a tent site that you could also park at, and there was electricity at that site. It also had a fire pit with a grate on top if you needed to cook. Enjoy!

Beautiful small campground with wonderful hiking into the forest. There are Nice trails along the river and all around the lake. Nice views from most of the campground. Lots of hummingbirds. We had some heavy rain during our stay. Water ran off quickly. No problems. We also experienced a power outage for a few hours one day, not associated with the rain storm. We would like to return!

Campground was clean and quiet. Campground hosts were friendly and constantly going around cleaning and keeping sites clean right after people left. With plenty of restrooms and trash receptacles located around the campground. Water spigots located around campground but dont have hose connections to fill campers. Lake is an easy walk from campground. No cell reception with Verizon or ATT, we didnt mind and enjoyed the disconnect.

The camp host was very friendly and informative. The camp site was very well maintained and surrounding area was just beautiful! Just a short hike to the lake and stream.

We had a beautiful campsite. Peaceful with lots of shade. The lake is a bit of a hike away, but definitely doable and worth it. Gorgeous lake with spots to sit on the lake edge and fish or picnic. No motorized boats allowed so it also is peaceful. Good for canoeing, paddle boarding or fishing with a belly boat. We will definitely go back.

A short weekend getaway is exactly what I needed. The campground host Heather and her Husband were so helpful with finding the right accommodations. I did not realize at the time I need an RV sport for a RTT, and they were so helpful in switching my spot to where I would be able to use the tent. Clean bathrooms, spicket water, and a relaxing weekend. Was beautiful with a overlook of the lake.

Well maintained, quiet, friendly host and tons of fun things to do! Hiking, atving, fishing, paddle boarding and the infamous Bishop Castle is a short commute. Will be back!

This site was very unlevel. It had a nice view of the pit toilet. On the positive side the pit toilets were always spotless.

Beautiful campground, but sites vary with privacy or openness. Access to the lake is outside the campground and you have to pay (a donation to a church) to park. You have to carry your kayak about 150 ft down the boat ramp to reach the water. It is a small, but beautiful lake and the surrounding mountains make it especially pretty.

Would like to see a dump station and a fresh water hydrant that could be used to fill an RV fresh water tank added to this park.

Campground was lush and green, short walk to the lake, sites were well maintained and the toilets were cleaned regularly and didnt smell bad. Our sites backed up to a grove of aspens and evergreens, we felt like we were in the woods. (Sites 26 & 27) Camp host was nice upon arriving and left us alone the rest of the time. Will add this one to our yearly rotation.Note, gas station is 30min away, nothing in town if you forgot an item or like to fill up your truck before hooking up the camper to go home.Also- fill your water tank before arriving and Firewood is $10/bundle, so bring your own.

I love a clean bathroom! Thank you to the camp hosts for working to care for the entire campground, including keeping the facilities clean and pleasant (might be a little strong) to use. I appreciated having clean water at the spigot nearby. Although I didn't need it, I liked having the option to plug in if necessary. My site was clean and ready for me, the campground was quiet, the views were amazing and the stairs down to the river were easy to find and use.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
