Bathrooms stink and are full of flies. Disgusting.

We are a regular visitor to Chalk Lake. The new campground host is excellent and was most helpful. As usual, the grounds were very clean, restrooms clean and an overall excellent experience. Will be back again next year - - assuming we can make reservations.

Randy is keeping this campground in very nice/clean shape. Very nice person to talk to about the surrounding area and sites to see.

We love site 2. The camp host, now and in the past, have always been helpful. They keep the campground clean and if there is a problem they fix it immediately. We were at the site on 8/30/2020 and found out that all camp hosts in the area had packed up and left. What happened? Something serious must have gone down with the forest service for ALL camp hosts in ALL campgrounds to up and leave that way! This is a big problem if those camp hosts don't return next year, they are part of the draw and one of the reasons keep people keep going back.
