It was an ok experience until the rangers came by and kicked out the whole section I was camped in because they said the section would be under water. We then had to find another place to camp for our remaining time.

We had a wonderful time at Tompkins Campground COE. Let's get the negative out of the way. Our site was a little hard to get into. It was plenty big but had a steep upward grade into the site. We didn't drag though. On the plus side it was a huge site, our 42' 5th-wheel fit with room to spare. The park itself is beautiful and in a great setting in northern PA. We didn't use the restrooms or shower so we can't comment on them but we heard from family that they were clean. For those coming in with big rigs we recommend coming in from the PA side and driving the long way around the park. Also, pay attention to the site size, not all will accommodate big RVs. T-Mobile worked somewhat. ATT and Verizon not so much.

The sites are maintained nicely. Well taken care of. Water was beautiful. Looking forward to returning.

When I first arrived at the campground I thought it to be a nice place. I pulled my camper into Cove 83 and began setting up. A thing I noticed was bits of trash and debris scattered around the site because previous campers failed to be responsible for their trash but also no one came to police the site after for quite some time. As I was setting up I couldn't avoid the neighbors across the road. There two adults and four young boys running around not only being quite loud but in their underwear with the two younger ones with diapers down at their knees. As the kids got louder the adults would scream at them from their chairs. I left my trailer to take a walk with my dog around the campground and as I was approaching the road the adult woman was bent over with her pants down around her knees and her big, huge posterior exposed to me. I came back some time later and there were a few more adults two got into a loud argument and the language was not appropriate not only for kids but for being in public. I spoke to the camp hosts on that night and expressed my concerns and frustration with them pointing out there were over a dozen people at that site across from me all close together in and outside at the trailer there was not a mask in site on any of them. I asked about moving to another site away from those people with no offer of help given The camp hosts were only concerned about a vehicle parked on the grass and insisted there was nothing they could do and took a hands off attitude. They told me they looked at the reservation ticket and they were due to leave the following day. I Told them if I was going to have to endure those people I would just leave but didn't want to be penalized my fees. It was getting late and I decided o stay the night. Not long after 7 AM the noise from the kids began with the adults yelling at them and another foul argument between them. When I found out they were moving to the site beside me I notified the host asked for a ranger...
