We went ebiking both on a trail at Ives run and also the nearby Pine Valley trail. We kayaked the lake and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors. We rented Site 101 and that loop was very quiet and fellow campers very respectful. Id highly recommend this camp experience.

The current reservation system works well. You must plan your stay months in advance to get the sites you want. The area has a lot to offer. We have been camping at Ives Run for many years and enjoy biking on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, spending time in Wellsboro, and the eating at local restaurants. Since it is only two hours from our home in Sullivan County, Ives Run is convenient for us. When we arrive at our site, it is always ready with our name on the site post and the fireplace cleaned out.

We had a very nice time at the campground even after severe storms brought trees down and knocked out power. Power was restored shortly after we arrived, so we were not impacted by that. The camp staff was hard at work removing downed trees and cleaning up debris, but they were very pleasant while doing this demanding task. The campground is only 30 miles from Corning, where we use to live. We came up to visit friends and this was a great base. There are several good restaurants in the area such as Darlene's Diner (the old Buzzy's Dream) in Addison and a new discovery of the Wellsboro House where we found great atmosphere and food.

Great place but the bathrooms are terrible and desperately needs updating. Long over due.

This was our first experience at Ives Run Campground and we were sadly, not impressed. I read wonderful reviews and our time there did not live up to the hype. The views of the mountains are gorgeous and kayaking in the reservoir was the best part of the trip. Unfortunately, the campground was a disappointment. They have camp hosts that watch you pull in and set up and then when you finally sit down to relax, they come over and tell you everything you did wrong. They do NOT welcome you, they chastise you. We go camping for the experience - and the wonderful people you meet along the way. Ives run has the views but that is about it... The "hosts" did not live up to their title at all. They were not gracious, but instead, rude. The bathroom facilities are disgusting - every single one. The state park needs to invest in new toilet seats and put money into the bathrooms. Due to this, we will not return to Ives Run Campground.

We love going to Ives Run. In fact, we have another stay scheduled for September. We had a great time boating and just sitting and relaxing. I do wish you had WiFi access but that is no big deal really.

We love Ive's Run. Plenty to do right at the park including a beautiful lake. But we use Iv's Run as our base and take day trips to Corning, Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes.

Incredible campground. Sites are all very large with plenty of space between each site. Area is awesome, kayaking, hiking and biking (very close in Pine Creek Trail). Highly recommended!!!
