There is a huge lack of trimming tree branches, in the loops and worse is the campsite. With taller campers, esp 5th wheels many roofs are getting scored or torn. Trim the branches. Take a 14 pole, trim the branches.

Not a fan of overzealous park employees I. E. Camp Hosts that cannot think on their feet. fFor example, empty site to my left and empty site to my right, raining, we had some friends over that were camped in another loop. Parked in empty site. Immediately a visit from Host telling them to move. give me a break. Park employees need some people skills training.

Kids had plenty of room to ride bicycles. We had an issue with not being able to open the door to access the 30 amp plug, and 2 employees came right over and opened it for us. (It was slightly bent and I couldnt pull it open.) Per my nephews comment, IT WAS GREAT!

Good experience as always. clean and well kept. Not far from Wellsboro. Quant little town of shops worth visiting. Leonard Harrison state park will be opened in the fall after renovations. good place to visit for a view of the canyon or hike down the trail.

Awesome COE! If there was another star it would receive it. Site was flat and we were able to get into it, only DRAWBACK was the site was shorter than described, other than that campground and experience was amazing!

We ABSOLUTELY love Ives run campground. Camping made easy!! The full hookups and level blacktopped pads make set up a breeze. We choose to camp locally as my husband is still working so can drive back and forth. Weve always had wonderful friendly neighbors. We did have one unpleasant situation wed like to bring up. While camping this past time, we got a call from friends whod hit something in the lake with their motorboat and were stranded. My husband went to the park ranger station to report stranded boaters. He was told there was nothing they could do for them unless they were injured. Really? Whats the sense of having rescue equipment and personnel if you cant help ppl in this situation? We were told they couldnt tow the boat to shore because of liability- yet the boater ended up stranded because of a problem with something in the lake that ruined their motor. It would suit Recreation.gov well to really take a look at your inability to help all ppl on ur lake no matter the reason. Fortunately another boater saw the stranded folks and towed them to safety. But to this day that policy makes no sense and protocol should be reviewed. Its a small lake and never many boats on it. Stranded boaters should be rescued period. That day it looked like a thunderstorm was brewing. I cant imagine the danger those boaters wouldve been in had a severe thunderstorm arose across the lake and a Good Samaritan wasnt there to help. And think about it, if theres a true thunderstorm, boaters dont stay on the water so no one wouldve saw them helpless and something detrimental couldve easily happened to the stranded boaters because campground rescue wouldnt throw them a rope to tow them in. This policy makes no sense. I bring it up to try to help the next stranded abandoned ignored boater.

It is a nice campground but this year at this time of the year in June it was not that good because of all the Gypsy moth caterpillars. We stayed at site 33 and the caterpillars were all over the place could not even enjoy being outside to eat. Had to eat inside the camper every night. Have been at this campground before without the caterpillars and we had a great time.

Gorgeous campground and our site was just perfect for our Class A 38 Towing a Jeep. This is by far the best COE camp we have seen!! Huge!! Saw a huge buck right in the middle of our loop!

We were pleased with the whole experience at Ives Run. Check in couldn't have been simpler, just driver to your site and the paperwork was on the post. The sites were spaced out nicely, utilities were easy to hook to, and the overall environment of the park was friendly and quiet. The hosts were very helpful in offering information on the camp and local attractions.
We stopped at the Visitor Center in the camp as well as the PA Visitor Center on I-99. We finally had the chance to get lunch at Florida Fried Chicken. It was worth the stop.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
