The site that I stay at usually is #98 but this time it rained and when I arrived there was literally a creek running directly under where my tent is supposed to go from the rain water from the site above me. #98 is apparently low spot in the Birch wing of Ives Run.

I frequently camp at Ives Run and love the campground, but on this visit, it was terrible. I got my reservation reminder a few days before arriving with no mention of the gympsy moth catipillar invasion. Our campsite was covered in catipillars and their poop, sticking to our shoes and getting everywhere. The catipillars were also everywhere, climbing on our legs constantly, and poop droppings could be felt on our heads while at the campfire. Needless to say, it was gross, and we left a day early. I wish that we had gotten notification of this prior to our arrival.

We have camped at Ives Run many times. It is always a joy, it is clean, and well laid out. We will be going back at least 2 more times this year!

We've been camping at Ives Run since they first opened. Always a great experience, and both the rangers and volunteers are great.

All great! One issue that trash was always overflowing. Should schedule more frequent pickups as very busy campground.

We have camped at Ives Run 6 times in the last 2 years. It is always clean, the staff is friendly and it is a great location. What's not to like?
