Nice site as always. Paved roads and sites are a delight, especially during rainy weather, which was the case this trip. However, grass had not been mowed and even during dry days, it was long and moist. Minor problem caused by conditions beyond human control.

We enjoy Ives Run campsite, HOWEVER, this trip was not what we expected. Our campsite was unkept. Grass was over 6 inches high. We went back home and brought our lawn mower and mowed our site and did the trim. I couldn't believe we were paying for a site that was in such horrible shape. OF COURSE, with the up and coming Memorial Day Weekend, they began mowing in the later part of the week. Just want you all to know, we were disappointed.

Lake was closed due to high water. Would be nice to post this info before we arrived...traveled 3 hrs to not be able to boat
Otherwise, good stay.

the pollen was absolutely horrible, it was like a dust storm. but otherwise it was a very nice tucked away and spacey site!!

My wife and I attended Ives Run with our son and nephew (ages 11 and 15). We all had a wonderful time. For the most part, the grounds were well taken care of and clean. The boys liked the way they could easily bike the roads. The distances between sites are generous. The employees were kind and excited to help. One of the best things we did was hire a fishing guide to fish Hammond Lake. We hired Clayton of Bass Worx (570)418-3168. He is a great guide. He was patient with the boys and constantly worked to put us on the fish. He definitely succeeded in doing that. We caught approximately 30 fish (no fish story). For us, Clayton and his guide service is a definite plus to returning to this campground. The sites have a fire pit with an attached adjustable grill. The area around the fire pit is a small stoned pad (approx. 12' by 12'). Our site had a asphalt pad for our camper. The utilities worked well. The only negative thing at Ives Run was the camp store. It would be nice to have a cleaner more supplied store. We had to leave the campground to get ice cream and any essentials. Even though the store was needing upgrading I still rated the campground 5 stars. This was done due to the access to the lake and the great experience we had with Clayton of Bass Worx. These experiences and opportunities should not be overlooked by the campground administration. We will return.

My wife and I were traveling with a group enroute to Niagara Falls, Canada and chose Ives Run as a mid-pointalong our route. Our stay was wonderful. The campground was clean, easy to navigate, and the sites were beautiful. We enjoyed the lake as well the rural area.We also enjoyed traveling to Wellsboro and the Grand Canyon of Pa. The Camp Hosts were friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back this year for a little longerstay.
