We love everyone about Ives Run! Theres not a bad site in the park. The sites in the main park are paved, well spaced, all have electricity, most have water, and some have sewer also. In Autumn the foliage is beautiful. We dont have a boat, but the boat ramp and dock are very large and lots of room. If you are a fisherman or hiker this is a great place to stay.

It was our first time camping at Ives Run. The weather was absolutely perfect for fall camping. We will definitely be back next year.

We loved being here at Ives run on the last weekend of the season, Halloween Weekend. Not crowded at all but plenty of sites taken. The Campground had a decorating contest which we did not enter but it gave a festive vibe all around with campers putting out pumpkins and mums and haybales. The grounds here are breathtaking. New trees had been planted here and there and it is obvious that the trees are one of the main attractions. Vibrant color. A few beautiful trails surrounding the recreation area. We had the trails all to ourselves so it was just beautiful. All sites kept neat and clean by the camp hosts and thoughtful campers. Especially the fire rings which is my pet peeve. Plenty of room for big rigs. We certainly will be back!

Our stay was nice until we were evacuated due to rising water cause by heavy rain and the dam being closed. The park ranger woke us at 2 in the morning and told us we had to leave. he was not helpful at all on where we could go other than we had to get to higher ground. There were numerous empty campsites we could have moved to but he told us we had to leave the campground and gave us no help on were to go at 2 in the morning. Two other campers were told the same thing while everyone else in the campground was able to stay. I understand that we were in a flood pron campsite but being the last 2 nights the campground was open for the year and there were many open campsites he was not helpful at all.

Miss the personal feel when you could go to the office and to talk to some one. Camp host are not your answer. We have been going there for about forty years and can not say things have really improved. We will still use the campground when we on line for a reservation.

Very spacious sites. We chose to be close to the lake and we didn't have sewer but that wasn't an issue since we were there for only 2 nights. We'll be back!
