The park is beautiful, spacious, and quiet with easy access to hiking, kayaking, biking, and fishing. Two things to remember...the speed limit is in place for a reason & it is not okay to assume that you can use someone's campsite as a throughway to park amenities.

We have been coming to Ives for four years now so obviously we love this campground. This year all though you warned of the problem, the tent catepillars were awful. They were destroying trees, all over vehicles, and the ground, We don't understand why no spraying was being done to save the trees. There were trees totally without leaves.

Ives Run is one of our favorite campgrounds. It is beautiful and peaceful. There are many great trails for biking/hiking and the lake is great for kayaking and fishing. I am so glad that the camp store has reopened. One of the things that bothered me on this most recent trip though was the amount of people who think it is okay to cut through someone's site to get to a friend/family members' site. If you have an absolute necessity to do so, please be polite and ask the campers on the site first. If you are new to the camping scene, please familiarize yourself with campground etiquette. I realize that my complaint has absolutely nothing to do with Ives Run just wanted to throw that out there for anyone reading this review.

Great campground, volunteers, and staff/rangers. This was our fifth time at Ives Run but first in the summer - we enjoyed swimming at the beach. October is great for the Fall colors.

Large campsites, very friendly, play areas for the kids and well maintained. Would highly recommend for campers of all ages.
