This park is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of water access for fishing, tubing or swimming. There are plenty of things to do for kids, but it is a very quiet park. It is a great place for young and old. We will definitely come back every year

Great campground. No one is working at the check-in booth, so you proceed to your site. However checkout time is 3 PM, so if you're early your site might be occupied. The camp store is currently closed.

The sites on the right side of Birch are a little tight for a longer RV, but managable.

we had power problems the last 3 days we were there and the Host, and Rangers were not helpful at all. they also have a Friday night Bluegrass music festival with no parking for the visitors. We had arrived to find all parking taken so parked in front of an area in front of dumpsters (this starts at about 700 pm ends at 930 or so) . I wnet to move my vehicle at the end and found a courtesy warning for parking there. Nowhere does it say parking not allowed. I asked ranger about why are they putting these on cars when they know there isnt parking for visitors Im paying to stay there and should have parking. He was rude and said dont worry about it, its just a courtesy warning. I asked why of all nights do they target parking during the festival. I love Ives Run but its changing and not for the better. It would be nice to teach the host and rangers that they all work for the public and are not there to cause problems they are they to help and oversee saftey. I am not the only person that had these problems we were with a group and we all had power problems. Its evident they need improvements in the gauge of wiring being used to supply the pedestol power it actually caused my inverter to have to be replaced the last time I was there.

It was very nice with the exception of losing our power several times.

We love this campground. Spacious sites. Great access to the lake. Hosts and fellow campers were very friendly.
