Restrooms need to be cleaned on a regular basis. They were cleaned once on our 2 week stay.

The camp site we were in had a spruce tree overhead and dropped sap all over our camper

Beautiful, spacious campsites with electric & water hookups in the Hickory Loop. Nice trails to hike, and loved the unsupervised swimming area so I could do some lap swimming in early AM unbothered. Nice bathrooms with showers, great hosts. Only downside was camp was not open - I think because of staffing shortage

Lots to do at Ives Run - awesome Visitor Center, all kinds of trails & wildlife, nice beach and boat launches. Campsites are nicely spaced and grouped well. Beautiful scenery.

Ives Run is a nice park , it is a beautiful man made lake. Scenic for sure. However I felt the park personnel were a bit overbearing. They spend a lot of time riding in their carts telling folks what they are doing wrong, and very little time doing things like cleaning the rest room /showers. Not once in my 3 day visit did the restrooms get cleaned. but, I was told what I was doing wrong every day of my stay. Our family still had plenty of fun so I can not say dont go, just be aware those folks will be on you, and the restrooms are on the not so clean side.

Parking pad was level and easily accessed. Electric and water hookup was not too far from the camper. The area was well maintained and mowed. We enjoyed watching squirrels and deer from our site. A very relaxing and enjoyable get-away.

Great campground. Very clean and close to everything. Love it here. It is fun just to drive around on the back roads in the area and see what you come across.
