Camped at site 145 on 7/15/24-7/19/24. Was there for the big storm on 7/15 the Park Rangers, Park Hosts and Park personnel did a fantastic job of checking on campers to make sure they were ok and the cleanup on following days.

Unfortunately, the lake was covered with fog when we woke up, and we got in after dark the night before. The site was well situated, away from the bulk of campsites, and the price was right. We will be back again to give it a second try.

We stayed out at the Pines portion of the campground. Super quiet...calm...relaxing we had sute 145 ...great site close to the water. Pull in so you are facing the lake. It rained heavily the entire weekend and my site stayed fairly mud free. My sister-in-law was 144 was a mud River. Literally washed out terrible. The road coming into the camp was a mess...not from rain.. it needs a tractor and a box blade and it would ve fine.. a little maintenance would go a long way in that department. The grass was also about 6 to 7 inches long. All in all the beautiful view and quiet atmosphere made up for it all
