Always love camping at Ives Run

Our site, 61, was not level, but we managed. Because a diseased tree has been removed there was little shade any more.

Ives Run provides the best of the camping world. Folks that like to boondock have great sites and wonderful views. Folks that prefer W/E or FHU the sites are level, some shade. Sites are ample size and privacy. The lake provides great fishing and boating. Great biking area around the campground.

With the gypsy moth invasion, it was the worst week weve ever spent at Ives Run! We wont be coming back. And the mowing leaves a lot to be desired!

Enjoyed the archery course and hiking. Great sites, kayaking and will bring our bikes next time .

Very nice, good maintenance on the campsites. Restrooms could use a serious facelift though. All in all, a good place to camp.

Campground is very nice, except that some of the sites are not level. The sites are spacious, some are concrete. There is a small lake to fish in and a nice boat launch.

What bothers me the most is having to reserve a less than good site. You come there and during the stay we notice a few or more sites that we had wanted but we're already reserved. The people who reserved these sites never show up. It's not fair to those who would like those sites. You should change the reserve rules to include if you don't show up on the first day you lose the site. And thereby making it available to those who would show up.
