Ives run is a beautiful campground. Well kept and clean. Sites are always clean. Sites have plenty of room between them. Love this place!

The grass had not been mowed in a while and was very tall. My brother in law ended up with a tick on him just from setting up the camper in the tall grass, has to be on antibiotics from the bite. The camp store was not open, very unkempt around it, weeds in the flower beds, bags of ice were left to melt in the ice freezer and it was full of empty bags, the store was locked, but you could look in the door, it was filthy. No weed eating has been done and weeds were high around all the sites. Very disappointed in how it is being taken care of.

Great place to camp, spacious sites, friendly employees. We had an issue with other campers bringing aggressive dogs. Our golden retreiver was attacked by a beagle one day and had her ear torn and had to go to vet for emergency care. the next day a pit bull pulled its anchor and drove our dog under a truck. all that we were doing was taking our dog for a walk and these dogs attacked for no reason, one broke his rope and the other pulled his pin. So be careful when camping since other campers bring their aggressive dogs.

The camp is clean and easy access to boat launch, park, and swimming area. People are friendly. We fish for crappie and we caught a far amount the size was between 8 and 13. Also caught bass. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Have an awful time finding a site! people book for a week or two around holidays and then cancel a week after the holiday! Campground is not kept up as it used to be!
