Beautiful campground. Sites are level and widely spaced apart. We took advantage of hiking at Colton Point State Park and the Pine Creek Rail trail which both had spectacular views.

The bathrooms and showers use to be so clean and now they really are really not. When they had people watching people coming in it was so much better

Weather was great . We took our new 6 month lab puppy. Loved walking around park. Riding bikes .. Very clean & our camp host was very nice. Only issue was the goose poop near swim area. We love it here. Relaxing n quiet. We had to cut visit short a day. Battery camper issue. We are coming back couple weeks again. Looking forward to fishing & kayaking then …

We stayed at Ives Run on 5/7/23. My husband drove our truck and camper and I drove my car. I arrived about 5 minutes before him and parked my car. I was helping him back into our site when the camp hosts came and yelled at us because my car was on the grass. I explained that as soon as we were parked on the site, my husband would put the truck on one side of the driveway and my car would be on the other. What a warm welcome, she said the park ranger could write me a ticket. We stayed one night and left the next morning.
PS. If they were so neurotic about the grass, why hadn’t it been mowed? It was as tall as the dandelions. We won’t bother going back. We used to love this place but these camp hosts were nasty!!

This was a beautiful park. The sites were large and all dog friendly. We will definitely be going back but have to wait to book . The booking window is 6 months in advance so I'll be doing that come January. My husband and I were very impressed with how well the lawn maintenance was taken care of, that doesn't happen at state parks.
Fishing was great and people were all friendly. This is one of my favorite new parks and it was all dog friendly.
