Would give a 5 star rating but for the fact that the sites are almost never mowed! Kinda hard to find dog poo in 6-8" grass.

Campground is spacious. Site fit our 40' fifth wheel and barely fit our dually truck, but the views of the lake were amazing. With our Access pass, we paid less than $20/night.

With this being our first visit to Ives Run, we were mostly influenced by friends who had stayed there previously. Our stay was AFTER Labor Day, so the support services (i.e. Camp Store) were not in operation. Our "admission" to the site was only completed by our on-line reservation. Our reservation "documentation" was located on the site post, along with a campground map. What this led up to was a lack of awareness of the entire area and what it had to offer. It wasn't until we took a casual walk along the camp roadways that we discovered a Hiking Trail System that existed immediately adjacent to the Campground. Without the need to stop and "Check In", and, with the Campground Map only showing the roadways, there was no physical paper map of the trails that we were able to locate. With that said, the sign-post map at the Trailhead was a huge help choosing the trail(s) we decided to take. But, once again, because this was late in the camping season, the trail was lacking in year-end maintenance, with quite a bit of over-growth, and some fallen limbs. Attentiveness to the Blazes was needed, as some of those seemed faint and distant. Overall, a decent physical printed map would've been greatly appreciated; one that would have included lines of elevation on a topographical map. Labeling the trails as "Easy", "Moderate", and "Difficult" doesn't help when you don't have all the information.Knowing what we know now, we may likely return, but will be better prepared to venture out into the beauty of Pennsylvania.

It was a very relaxing 4 days. The site was perfect, easy set up. We loved the campfire/picnic table set up!

Beautiful, relaxing park. Be sure to check which sites have sewer connections and which do not.

Noisy in the night due to RVs generators.

We were there in mid-October. The campsites were large, clean, and well-kept. The park itself was quiet, possibly because of the time of year. We will definitely be going back there. Our only negative was the fact that the way the sites are set up, it's virtually impossible to back into the sites without getting onto the grass, especially if the site across from you has their vehicle parked right out to the edge of the road. We have a quad-cab truck and a 35' camper, and it was really tight to get in without getting a wheel or two on the grass so we didn't hit the truck across the road. And my husband has had lots of experience with campers, horse trailers, and tractor trailers.

I loved the campground during the week! on the weekend a group of campers moved in all around us and had kids and dogs running through the sites that were already rented unleashed and out of control. Yes the dogs and the kids. I left a day earlier than I had reservations for just so I didn't have to deal with them !
