bathrooms are horrible! Site flooded - literally had water under my steps as the water had no place to drain. Other sites not affected by same rain fall. Electric needs re run to avoid power cords going through standing water

Stayed early August in site 120. Fairly easy angled back in, good length for 53 total rig, level site. Nice shade on morning and evening, only direct sun during middle of the day. Bathhouse is 2 sites away. Nice view of lake if no one in 121. Grass all around and more open space than other loops, great to walk the dog. We really enjoy this Army Corp property. Primary negative here was the bathhouse. They are family style units, very spacious, large shower area but were in need of a thorough cleaning.

We had 4 sites with friends and was looking forward to our first camping trip this year. The week we were at Ives Run, there were thousands of Gypsy Moth hanging from the trees and all over anywhere there were trees, which was absolutely horrible. It made it impossible to sit outside with hundreds hanging on the table, awnings, the sides of the motorhome. When I asked if they were going to spray, I was told that this was nature. We love Ives Run camping and this is our favorite site. This was going to be the last camping trip for 2 couples of our friends; therefore, this was a horrible last camping trip making it even easier for them to choose to sell their camper. If we had chosen a different week, possibly I would be writing a totally different story.....but who knew. I wonder if next year will be even worse as they take over an area and kill the trees. After we were at the campground, we received a notice that there was an "infestation of gypsy moth" which was too late and our week was paid in full.I am sorry to have to write this, but I was asked about my experience camping at Ives Run, an area we love.

The park is in need of some maintenance, the restrooms at Hickory, air vents falling out, toilet needs re-bolted to floor, grass mowing was needed. This is great camping area, hopefully funding will be there to maintain the infrastructure.

We live locally, but this is a nice getaway, especially with all the uncertainty in the world right now this is just a small piece of paradise and we enjoy camping here. We also utilize the property for hunting activities throughout the year.

Was a perfect weekend with family. The only thing not so great was the hot water in the shower near our site didnt work but they finally got it to work on Sunday.
