Our 50A surge detector identified a voltage issue with line 2 at the 50A connector. The voltage was 40v instead of 120v. The host indicated it would take a few days to get a technician due to the weekend.
Was able to easily work around the power issue by using the 30A connector with an adapter.
It was the end of the season and this site was covered in rotten pear like fruit. It was very difficult to walk on the grass with all the rotting fruit. My dogs were totally distracted when outside by all this free food.
The squirrels were getting ready for winter and making piles of nuts everywhere. They made several piles on the picnic table and driveway. Clean them up and a new pile appears.
Site 95 has the potential for a really nice water view, but it’s blocked by a few overgrown trees.
Otherwise the stay was wonderful. The lake is perfect for paddling and fall foliage was near peak. Bathroom and shower facilities were well designed and very well maintained.
The town of Wellsboro nearby had a nice grocery store (Tops) and a few good restaurants.
We found a very good bike path along Pine Creek that went through the Grand Canyon of PA. There were State parks on both side of Pine Creek but they did not connect to the bike path. Excellent views from each park. There were several hiking trails in each park.
