The sites are spacious, clean and mostly level. We have a 42ft 5th wheel and had no issues parking. The facilities are well kept and everyone is always helpful.

Bath houses except for Hickory could use a face lift.Other than that the facility is well done and fantastic.

Love booking at Ives Rub but it is near impossible to get a site. Seems like retired folks stay for weeks on end. Bathrooms are few and far between.

A very beautifully located campground with many possibilities to swim, hike or use a boat. The lawns and picnic areas a very well maintained. Only the mens' restroom in Beech was in very poor condition.

Ives Run was beautiful. Our site was perfect. We could see the lake from our site.

We had a beautiful site near the boat launch. The sunrise on our last day was fabulous and I was able to see a short tailed weasel, something not spotted too often in Pennsylvania. This spot also gave us close proximity to Lake Cowenesque, so we were able to explore both lakes. The maps were a bit sketchy and we had to go to an outside visitor center to help us find our way to the dam and other sites. Another problem we had was what to do with our dishwater. We were told not to dump it in the grass and two different hosts gave us different suggestions until they could get back to us. Noone ever did.

We had a beautiful site but the sites just above us closer to the bathrooms had sewer hook-up. It would be nice for all the sites in the main camping area to have sewer hookup. The bathrooms and showers were not kept clean. We understood from one of the camp host that you can not get anyone to clean them. What do all the camp host do? They lots are not mowed. Yes there were some people mowing but with small mowers. We witnessed the one person mowing was doing so with the side shoot open blowing toward campers. The other issue were the speed signs. Children got yelled at for going 11 mph down hill to their campsite. Now come on. If it was a vehicle I could understand but a child on their bike, downhill! There was no one checking campsites or vehicles permitted at sites. This has really changed since we started camping here in the 80's. We have witnessed some good things but also scratched our heads over other things. We don't understand why there are 3 camp hosts and they are all off duty.

The bathrooms were disgusting...dried feces on some toilet seats, toilet paper remnants dried to the floors, bird poop splattered on some of the shower doors...didn't look like the bathrooms had been cleaned all season. We've gone there for a large family gatheringcamping weekend for the last 5 or 6 years and we probably won't go back

Beautiful sites, well kept! I didnt like that we were unable to change our site to another with a remarkable view & it was empty the whole time we were there!

Great time. Only rained one morning. Love the fact that all sites are open to pets. Most campers are very considerate of other campers, and clean up after their pet. Every great once in a while , not so. But then , maybe they forgot to grab the poo bags on the way out the door. Such friendly campers. And, really friendly and helpful volunteer workers. And, they do work .

This place never disappoints. We come for the quiet, but have no trouble with accessing our ATT accounts from this location. Sites far enough apart to be comfortable and give privacy. We take walks on the macadam roads and enjoy the scenery and variety of trees.

Most of this facility is impeccably maintained. The campsites and grounds are well cared for. Because many sites do not have sewer you might choose to use the campground toilets and showers. Unfortunately, this element of Ives Run is way below average. The toilet/shower facility was poorly maintained. My wife commented about soap scum on the shower walls and no shower curtains to keep the dressing area from getting wet. Plan on trying to use your rv for those needs and consider bringing a portable tote for dumping your tank if staying longer than 3 or 4 days.

If you explore, there is some good hiking. Lawns were well cared for and provided for nice surroundings. I refer to this park's campers as sun dial campers. You can tell the time of day by where their chairs are relative to their vehicles unlike many other RV parks where campers disappear after breakfast.
