The sites are large and level. The restroom are kept clean. The shower house restroom doors need a little work.

This is our go-to campground if we want a quick weekend trip and it never disappoints. We like to walk up the hill to the dam and check things out, and there are a lot of things nearby in the area to see and do. The bathrooms are very clean for campground bathrooms, and we typically just shower in them instead of in our RV. The only bad thing weve noticed is that sometimes, particularly on holiday weekends, the campground owners at the campground next door can get loud and there isnt much that the campground hosts can do about it since its outside of the campground. Choose spots away from that fence area.

Other than weather, which is out of your control, we enjoyed our annual stay with friends. With all the rain, we are grateful for the hard work to keep all of us campers safe.

Site needs work to bring it more level very uneven and hard to find level areas for tent and shelter. Fire pit ring so high need to stand over fire to enjoy heat,table so heavy to move away from fire pit so as to use it within shelter and is in poor condition to use complete table top as it is bowed up on one end.

We enjoyed our 11-day stay at the Outflow. The rangers were very friendly and present throughout our stay. The restrooms were kept clean and the camp sites and grounds were well maintained. Although we were not able to get in much fishing due to high water, we enjoyed bike rides on the beautiful trail, visited Ohiopyle, made many trips to the Outflow Soft Freeze and dined at several restaurants up on route 40. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Campground is across the street from the GAP. There are some sites with electric and water, but most do not have that. Rather open sites, with little screening. There are shade trees, but the sites are still fairly sunny. There is a stand that will recharge cell phones, not sure about e -bike batteries. The town is within walking or biking distance of the campground.

We were there in early May on a non-electric site. Nice facilities, very clean, close to the Great Allegheny Passage trail and downtown Confluence. We would have rated it higher, but it was very buggy. Also close to Fallingwater, if you would like to visit there. Our mapping application took us by the entrance to Fallingwater and Ohiopyle SP. We were towing a 28 foot trailer, and found the other route in, Rte 281, an easier drive.

the outflow got a 3 because of the weather. You can't control that. It is our favorite place to go so we will always go there any day! Love it there'

Th campground is fine if you don't need a cell phone or internet for anything. We had a family emergency just before arriving. We had no way to communicate with anyone without going in to sit at the gas station in town. Even that was sketchy. After 3 years of fulltime travel this is only the 3rd time we have had problem anywhere in the country.

The ACOE Outflow campground in Confluence PA is clean, well managed, and usually quiet on Sunday through Thursday evenings during peak use season.The weekend experience there varies from similar to weekday evenings to something less pleasant. The first of two recurrent problems is noise, mostly from people with RVs who rent non - hookup sites and then run generators for hours. The second problem is that the campground can be very smokey during still evenings, which some people make even less pleasant by burning trash. There is no evident signage or effort on the part of campground hosts to stop either of these practices.

I rode up to the campground on my bike around 5:30pm. The host greeted me and described the different available options. He let me know that he had a hotspot at his site, in case I didnt have enough service to register. While I miss the old fashioned option of putting cash in a box, it worked. I do wonder what would happen without a hotspot to campers without cell service. The entire campground was clean and well maintained.

We have been camping here for well over 35 years. It is frustrating to be pitching a tent on a bed of gravel and rock. Whoever designed the 'pads' never camped in a tent. It took us over 30 minutes ti dig out our tent stakes- we pitch a canvas tent bought in 1987.

Well-maintained facilities. COE campgrounds are known for their well-kept amenities, including clean restrooms, laundry facilities (at some, but not all), and hookups, making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
