Friendly people. Nice areas for tent campers amongst the RV campers. It was quiet at night and there is potable water and clean bathrooms for through-bikers on the Great Allegheny Passage trail. We had a flat and there is a cute town of Confluence nearby with a well-equipped bike shop. Rode into town to get pizza at night. Great camping spot for bike-packers on the GAP!

It was a great place. Clean showers & free camping for hike and bike.

Hiker/biker campsite offered picnic tables, grass for tent set up, posts to hang food, clean bathrooms and showers. Also a place to walk to view the River. There are groceries in town with short bike ride.

The facilities were very nice. But the tent pads were gravel in the tent only area, a softer material would have been better. The showers and bathrooms were very nice. Unfortunately, we were back by a fence that had a private campsite on the other side and it was Friday night and they were having a large party. They did get quiet after 10 pm.

The hiker/biker sites are a welcome asset to the GAP trail. Appreciate the facility.

Great location to explore Ohiopyle and the Great Allegany Passage bike trail. Typical gravel parking space for the camper van. Very clean and quiet. We could hear the dam water and see the stars very well. The dam water release odor remined me of the salt water marshes along the ocean, pungent.

Advanced, online only reservations required in an area where I had no service. As a cyclist camping with a hammock, there was no way of knowing which sites accommodate hammocks. Park host had a hot spot so I could register, but hammock supports in hike/bike area were too close together to use my hammock and tarp. Probably a great place to park an RV for a night if you have Starlink. Bathroom and shower facilities were pretty good.

Nice campground, large and level spots. I used it as a base camp for filming nature videos. You can see some video of the campground and the surrounding areas in my Vlog. Ohiopyle PA, Filming the falls, and other adventureshttps://youtu.be/iPm8KnAqo3s

Pads were designed for non-tenters. You can hardly pound stakes in and if you do get them in the ground, it's difficult to extract them.

Camping pads do not accommodate tenters- can't pound stakes into the pad

Kind and informative host, thank you! Also, all or most of the LED lights that can be distracting to tent campers were turned off during sleeping hours. Not sure if that's a policy, happenstance, or otherwise, but it's appreciated! Facilities were adequate and clean.

Very well kept, small campground with great camp host. Bathrooms were clean and showers were nice and warm. Many things to do in the area several good hiking trails and the bike trail was incredible. We stayed for a week and would love to stay longer the next time.

I have never seen such dedication from the host of Outflow. They were constantly cleaning the sites, road ways, and super helpful with guest and lost tourists. We will be back. Kirk and Helen

This is a pure gem and a very beautiful place, the camp host was especially helpful when our fur baby got sick. I highly recommend this campground for everyone even the kids will have a ball.

Please get some wifi. There is no cell phone service at Outflow.I see no reason to require reservations in advance for bicycle tourists. Many places have a hiker-biker area where you can just show up. When bike touring, my schedule often changes due to weather, repairs, and unforseen circumstances.

Nice campground, very convenient if you are traveling on the GAP trail, or just using the trail for hiking/biking. Quiet, good space for setting up a tent in the hiker/biker area. Only compliant is the restroom which is clean but rather shabby.
@RaymondV315242 · Camped on Aug 18, 2025 at Campsite #22
No wifi or internet available. Had to drive in town and park near library to send texts and make phone calls. This was a stopover on the way to Niagara Falls so all in all it was just okay.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
