We enjoyed being at Shenango but I was disappointed that the showers did not work, there was no hot water and I couldn't find anyone to tell me what was going on and when the hot water should be restored. Also the mosquitoes were horrible, millions of the hungry beasts everywhere. We saw a pest control spray but that only lasted one day and they were back in force biting. Yet, all in all, we still had a good experience.

Easy process to pay and easy to enter. Site was really nice. The campground was clean. We enjoyed our walks. The only improvement I would recommend is to get water to the sites. It is hard to fill the trailer tank from the pump.

Very nice campground. Not much fishing access at all. Heck it's like the dead sea in the lake up there. Other then the leaf blower at 6 am to clean the bath houses.

Great campsite, great weather, we enjoyed walking every day. If we needed supplies, Hermitage was very close by

The campground is clean, washrooms are very good. Some spaces have good sized lots, others you are right next to the next camper. Many sites are right on the water. The campers are well behaved and friendly. The only negative is that if you are staying more than a couple of days you will have to move your camper to the water supply to refill. The electric is excellent with both wattages.

The shower stalls and dressing area are not private at all you have to walk thru one dressing area to get to the other. You are getting dressed in front of someone else. Also closing Labor Day or the week after is way to early...thank you

Filled up our water tank as we entered the park at one of the water spigots located along the roadway. Later noticed a horrible rotten egg odor coming from the water. When we asked the park hosts, they said that they would not recommend drinking the water from the water taps...we wish we had been told this before filling our tank (maybe they could put up a sign stating that the water is not potable??). Ended up not being able to use our water tank the rest of our trip, until we were able to disinfect it once we got home. Aside from that, it looked like the park had been flooded earlier in the season, and the mosquitoes were horrid. Roads were in bad shape. Overall negative experience for us.
