One night was enough for me. I’ll say what’s good because there wasn’t that much. It was very close to the beach area and playgrounds. The bad, the campsites are very close together. Since it was only me it wasn’t bad but bigger parties it might be a good idea to get two sites. The roads coming in were very bumpy. The fire ring was covered in ants because the previous people threw a bunch of food inside it. The picnic table had a bunch of marks from people putting very hot things on it. There was no concept of quiet time. At 2:30 am my neighbor lost their dog and was calling for the dog and then started screaming at each other about who let the dog out. The bathroom lights didn’t work along with one of the sinks. There must have been a leak of some sort also because there was water inside the men’s room and water pooling outside the door. The park range came out twice but if you’re looking for a quiet time, I’d look elsewhere.

Been going to Crooked Creek for awhile now and never camped there till recently. It was a wonderful experience with lots of wildlife right outside our tent. Swimming and fishing wasn't far away either, no more than a 5 minute dtive! The rangers that were working while we were there was helpful and very nice. Definitely gonna be booking again soon!!

Love Crooked Creek. Would be nice if they offered more electric hook up spots.

Great spot. It may be a bit of a walk to the restrooms for some. But it gives a decent space from the other spots for a decent seclusion.

The campsites are very close together, with little to no privacy between them. During my weekend stay, the campground was completely full, which made it feel quite crowded. Some campers stayed up chatting and playing music (not extremely loud, but noticeable and a bit disruptive in a natural setting) even past the designated quiet hours. On the positive side, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the campground hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Campsite was great, took a bit to level. The picnic table was concrete and needed a good scrub. We had rain so werent able to do much, and the dump station was out of order. To be fair I think we did get notified about the dump station. I would stay there again if in the area.

Fun, cheap, and relaxing! There are enough trails in the park to keep you busy for a day. But there are other nearby trails and such. I'm definitely going back!

Love Crooked Creek Campground. We've been camping there for 20years!! It's a nice clean campground with plenty of spots for campers and tents with lots of trees for shade. They have nice clean bathrooms, but no showers or electric hook-ups. Each spot has their own fire ring and table. There is a fairly new playground for kids too. There is a beach for swimming and a boat launch area as well. We always took our bikes because there are paved roads for riding.

Sites are pretty much level. Cell service is not what it used to be after changes to the cell towers but still serviceable. The bathrooms are very clean. Overall a good little campground.

No information at the campground about water or dumpstation or quiet hours made for our worst night of camping in a long time. During the week was okay but Friday night we needed to self enforce the rules which weren't posted. We checked out early to avoid a repeat. Most sites are too small and close even for our 20 foot camper. Upon leaving we had to call the ranger for the code to use the dumpstation. It was lucky we could reach someone. Also, it is unclear why there are no toilets in the beach area. This seems to me to be a problem. As for the scenic vistas shown on the map...maybe when there's no leaves on the trees. On a positive note, it is a short drive to the Rosston access to the Armstrong bike trail and kayaking up crooked creek from the boat launch you can see numerous blue herons and possibly a bald eagle as we did.

Peaceful campground with two nearby playgrounds. The lake is a great way to spend the day swimming, fishing, or kayaking. It’s a great family getaway!

no power, no hookups, but generally a quiet park. Park rangers usually drive by several times per day. Check-in process is easy. Playground can be seen from almost every campsite. Public bathrooms are well kept. Running water available and dump stations available.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
