Great place to camp. A bit remote but well worth it. The views are incredible. The gentleman running the campground and store was awesome.

Very clean and organized camp spot. It was my first time camping, and this turned out to be the perfect platform. really sweet staff at check-in. The campsite has access to fresh spring water through a pump. The campsite can accomodate 2-3 cars comfortably. The drive to the campsite is through a lot of unpaved roads, would not recommend going here when it is raining/snowing as the roads get dangerous.

The campsites were well maintained and clean. We enjoyed that we had space between our site and a neighbor's. The staff on hand were super helpful and kind. We highly recommend the Rim Trail. Beautiful area!

The location is absolutely beautiful. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Campgrounds are kept very clean as well as the bathroom. Water hook ups are pumped in from a natural spring that you can drink which is fun. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

We have backpacked multiple times in this area. This is a great stop. Great campground, nice little store, good pizza, beautiful views and friendly hosts. Make reservations if you go on a weekend. They book pretty fast.

The campground was beautiful! And the staff was super friendly and informative. It’s a short walk to the overlook and there is a nice 2-mile trail all along the rim. Difficult to run it but would be great for a leisurely stroll. Expect about 10 miles of winding and bumpy dirt road to get up to the campsite, but it’s worth the trip!

This is an excellent but very off the beaten path campground. The gravel roads leading to the camp are very passable even for small cars, but don’t expect to get anywhere in a hurry as we averaged only about 15 mph (in a small car). The camp is clean and has one shared water hydrant and a vault toilet. There is no electricity in the campground. There is a well stocked but very overpriced “general store” for your basic camping needs. They will deliver large bundles of firewood right to your campsite once you purchase it at the store. The roads in the area (all gravel) are beautiful. There are several trails in the area. The hikes are wonderful but the trails are pretty primitive and sometimes not well marked. If you are into primitive camping in a remote area this is the place. During the three nights that we were there there were never more than three other camp sites occupied. Lots of quiet nature.

The location was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed walking the rim trail several times during our stay. The whole campground and public use area was very well maintained. Please be aware, which were weren't, that the campground is on top of a mountain and the weather forecast for the nearby town will be dramatically different than the top of the mountain. We were surprised by the wind and significantly colder temperatures. Next time we will be prepared! And yes, we do plan to return, but if we come back in the winter, we will try to rent a cabin!

Great experience overall, beautiful area. My only complaint would be that the firewood we paid $8 for was all damp and was impossible to keep the campfire going.

Website wasn't clear if the two night minimum pertained to campsites as well, and it does. Other than that is was a wonderful place with very friendly staff.

I camped here in October 2019 and the only complaint I have is that I was too early for full color leaf peeping. The views are breathtaking, trails well maintained, the campsites were clean, the staff was wonderful and the water from the artesian well was some of the best I've drank. I was a little concerned about towing my small, teardrop size trailer up and down the 7 mile gravel road but it was a piece of cake. When I first arrived my cell service was spotty but after following the directions the staff gave me, turn phone off and on so that it connects to the closest tower, I had no more issues....... def going back.

The overall experience was wonderful - clean, well kept camp ground and amenities. The White Rock Mountain area is beautiful. Trails are well marked and easy to navigate. My sons and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will definitely come back in the coming years.
