We really enjoyed our time here. This is the second time we have come up and stayed at a cabin in the winter. There were plenty of space heaters and the wood burning stove kept the cabin very warm. The beds were comfy. We hiked down to the overlook for sunset and that was magical. The only thing I will say is that the bunk beds are larger than a twin in cabin a so the sheets we brought did not fit. Luckily we brought a sleeping bag anyway so it wasnt super necessary to have them. Just a heads up for those in the future.

We didnt come with many preconceived expectations other than time away in a quiet location. Our expectations were met, but the experience far exceeded that. The managers were off the charts friendly and helpful. A fire was lit in the cabin fireplace and heaters were on. Other guests were a pleasure to meet and interact with. I have already put a reminder in my calendar to reserve a cabin again next year.

The cabin was great with old charm. The folks hosting the general store were friendly and accommodating. It's very isolated, with rough roads getting in, but that added to the experience. The view was amazing. I would camp there again.

Remote but beautiful location. Sunsets are fantastic. Nice hiking nearby. The road to Shores Lake was out which necessitated a 20-mile, 1+ hour detour. The wood stove in the cabin was unable to heat the cabin above about 55-60 degrees. Would return again in milder weather.

We love White Rock Mountain! The views are outstanding! The cabins are comfortable and clean. Kitchen has all you need to prepare wonderful meals, while keeping authentic decor throughout the cabin. Waking up and enjoying the beauty and quiet with a cup of coffee on the back porch is priceless. Could not ask for better park host and staff! Very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. We will be returning often to this park.

First and foremost the loving staff there are very warm and welcoming. They were very helpful and willing to help make our experience more enjoyable. Ms. Amber and Mr. Ross, cant thank them enough. True definition of southern hospitality. Amazing people. Our cabin was exactly what we wanted and expected. Youre in the forest, so dont be surprised of all the bugs and other wildlife that come with it. However its best to spray yourself with bug spray and not settle in the grassy area. My wife and I got bit up pretty badly by chiggers. We are still itching as we type this out lol. The trail around the campgrounds is very nice and the views are great (especially at sunset, watch from one of the bluffs). The previous occupants prior to us, and messed with the kitchen layout. It caused the refrigerator to go out but the staff was quick to fix it. Overall, you cannot beat the year round price for the cabins. We will most definitely be coming back in the future.

The cabin rented was cute, however, the time of year is key. Humidity was 90% during our stay so everything in the cabin was damp. The onsite staff was responsive. The refrigerator stopped working during our stay and it was very quickly resolved and working again.Beautiful scenery and the main trail around the camp area enjoyable. While taking a longer hike (7 miles) from the campground, we found trails to be narrow, overgrown with vegetation and lots of bugs (ticks). Bring bug spray if spending time outdoors.

Amazing views! We rented one of the cabins which had everything we needed. I hiked the rim trail each morning and evening to watch sunrise and sunset. The hike down to the Cascades was tiring, but taking a dip in the pool under the falls made my day!

Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings. The historic CCC cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable, although most of our time was spent outdoors on the patio, enjoying the scenery.

Cabin A was beautiful and rustic, but comfortable. The cabin had wifi too - nice! Hiking around the top of the mountain was great with fantastic views, but other trails were overgrown in late August and full of chiggers and ticks. I brought an extra fan to the cabin because temps were in the 90's each day. I witnessed the blue, super moon rise from the overlook at the picnic area - fantastic!

Quiet area on top of White Rock mountain - very secluded and the drive up is a steep dirt road with lots of turns. Make sure to bring all the food and supplies you need because the nearest gas station is an hour away! For the cabins, you can rent sheets but not towels so you'll need to bring everything.

Had a great visit to White Rock - the 47th annual gathering of friends from college days at the Univ. of Arkansas. Amber and crew do a great job of getting the cabins and Lodge clean and ready for occupancy. It's much nicer than it was in the '70's - and the store is very handy. A great rustic getaway with the most incredible views in the state.

White Rock Mountain is one of our favorite places to visit. The cabins are charming and cozy. They date back to the 1930's, so they're a little rustic, but they are expertly maintained and have all of the creature comforts. The staff at the campground are very friendly and welcoming, and helped us find some great hiking in the area. We can't wait to come back!

Cabin was great. It was cold and Dan on fireplace was not working. Fireplace didnt warm whole cabin for sure but I kept a roaring fire going. I was a bit disappointed that I had to buy wood to burn in the fireplace to keep warm for my second night. Overall, a good experience. I would love to go back.

Wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy, rustic, and breathtaking. Space and facilities were incredible, wonderful touches such as rainfall showerhead. Wood stove was easy to use and kept the cabin warm on the chilly nights. Hiking abounds, waterfalls are all around and the views at sunset are stunning from the rim trail.
