I rented cabin C for two nights. The views are stunning and the cabin is perfectly equipped. The cabin also was spotless!I have to say that the folks who run the area--Ross and Amber--made the experience even more wonderful. They are friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. I would definitely return.

The recreation area is beautiful. Everywhere you look a better view. Cabin C was clean and quiet. Exactly what I was looking for and only 50 yards from the trailhead. I highly recommend this for a break from the city. The hosts are very hospitable and willing to take the time to share information. You won't regret going here.

Cozy cabins with a great view. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Will be a return customer for sure. Love this area. Drive is long but the views along it are wonderful. Cabins are well maintained and stocked. Cant wait to bring my kids up here in spring to do some hiking.

Cabin was clean, check-in was friendly, views and temps were perfect. Our only mistake was forgetting to light the wood stove when we arrived. By the time we finished dinner in a friends cabin it was too late to warm up our cabin. It was nice and warm the following morning. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect. Extremely nice accommodating people running everything. Laid back and easy checkin/out. Cabins great! Rustic, yet cozy and comfortable. Instructions left to keep the cabin heated with the fireplace was extremely helpful. Bed comfortable. Had everything we needed. Liked the fire pit on the back porch to cozy up on cooler nights and grill was very clean. We enjoyed doing a puzzle the provided and had a great time player checkers on this big cloth board on its own table and 2 cool wooden chairs. The trail was running through the bottom of our Cabin so we just walked a few steps and went to close look out and went all the way around the mountain. Just everything youd hoped for. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive. Good tires are a must going up this mountain. 18 miles of narrow rock road.

We stayed in Cabin 3, unique, peaceful, just what we needed. Love the old CCC buildings, no need for AC, and easy access to nice hikes with waterfalls, mushrooms, butterflies. Takes about 30 minutes down a gravel road (well maintained) off the main road to reach White Rock Mtn, car was fine vs truck/SUV. Very nice couple checked us in and showed us different hikes on the map.

As always, WRM is a beautiful and isolated bit of the world. Enjoy the drive in, hike the hikes, and relax on your patio and watch the valley get dark.

Wow. I've stayed at some other Forest Service cabins, but nothing like this one. The cabin is huge and ornate. Gives you those cozy rustic feels. Not to mention a gorgeous view outside your door. The cabin has everything you need to prepare a meal. I was surprised at how well- equipped the kitchen was. Amber, the host, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!

This was our second time at White Rock Mountain. I cannot tell you how much I love this place. Everyone is the office is so friendly. The accommodations are amazing, the view is unforgettable, and we cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend staying here. I have stayed in Cabin B and Cabin C. I like Cabin B better but Cabin C is great too. Don't forget to check out all the waterfalls when you are in the area!

The location was AMAZING! Great for getting away and resetting! The staff was 5 star and very cheerful and inviting. Anytime I called and had a question about anything they were always very helpful with a contagious, upbeat attitude. Definitely will be coming back. 5 Stars all around!

We stayed in Cabin C and it was very rustic. Children need to be careful on back deck as there are no hand rails and the first step is a doosie! If going in winter time take warm blankets and a fan to move the heat around. Suggest bring something to keep your feet warm as well. There is a lot of good hiking trails and very nice views. They are not kidding about the cliffs either, big drop offs so be be careful!

First-time visitor but will go back. The staff really tried to make our visit a success in every way. It was a great place to decompress.

Really loved staying in Cabin C! The photos didn't do the place justice, a gorgeous interior with an amazing view of the valley. I had been doing a lot of solo traveling/camping which made the fully furnished kitchen such a nice touch. Being able to cook myself a quality meal then eat it while watching the sunrise/sunset over the valley was a perfect way to start and end the day. Would highly recommend staying here.

It's fairly close to a lot of gorgeous hiking spots and just down below is another recreation park which has a lake for canoeing and some more campsites.

I would like to note that the roads into the recreation center are at least 30 minutes of straight gravel up the mountain. They are fairly well kept but it took me about 30 minutes to drive a little less than 5 miles. That being said, the roads were in good shape and easy to drive on. Bring a cooler for food you may want to prepare as the nearest store is a good 1 hour away.

The check in was wonderful- Amber was super friendly and helpful, and we were surprised at all the available supplies for sale! Cabin C was gorgeous, so homey and comfortable, and WHAT A VIEW! We were lucky to make it out on the rim trail our first night, because unfortunately it rained for the next 30 hours straight. It didn't matter though, it was the perfect place to unwind, hunker down, and enjoy this rustic location.

Such a peaceful and relaxing stay in the cabin. The views from the mountain are breathtaking. We hiked a couple trails during our short stay. We will definitely return, there is much more to see!
