We could not use the water and the weeds were horriblebut I love the view of the water and hillgood stop over

50 amp service did not work… had to use converter plug to connect to 30 amp service. Infested with goat heads… don’t try riding your bike here. Poor cell coverage. Does not appear to be much in the way of maintenance going on . Now, for the positive: Quiet… right off the highway… beautiful little bay, with a park area and docks, right where the John Day river runs into the Columbia River. If the maintenance crew would put some effort in, this would be a great spot.

A beautiful location and camp ground. Kept very clean and safe. On the main loop, there is no bad spots honestly. Great place to fish and kayak. Definitely need to come prepared for wind.

Great place to relax and fish ! Other campers were friendly and helpful when it came to fishing knowledge for the area . Beautiful place

We were next to the vault toliet boy did it smell. If you looking at a place where you boat and swim this is for you. Not much else. It is a cement slab with a "view" of the river and the interstate bridge. It was 104 degrees when we were there. No shade so we spent the whole time in the trailer or in the water. If you want to boat, swim or a place for the night this works. Clean restrooms.
