Well maintained. Bathrooms clean and didnt smell bad. Great value for firewood. One of the trails was very overgrown but considering all the budget cuts I was impressed that all the rest (heading to waterfalls) were in great shape!

I think this is a great site. Bathrooms were clean and camp host was friendly. White noise from river was lovely.

Love this small campsite in the woods with easy hikes from the campground. Many of the sites are fairly private and surrounded by trees, apart from inside the loop. Site 1 is nice, flat, private with a pathway straight to the lovely creek. It's closest to the entrance and camp host site, a short walk to water spout and bathrooms just one site over. No cell service. There was a notice about a mountain lion sighted the week before so that's a little concerning for solo hikers.

Wonderful Little campground with several sites having direct access to the river. View's of the falls from your tent!!

It is a nice campground if it were kept up properly. I like that there is space between sites. The trails were well maintained. However, the vault toilets were extremely dirty and smelly. The day before my stay, I called BLM and asked if fires were still not allowed. They said no, it is still too dry for fires. That night, a person two spaces down, had a roaring fire with sparks flying upwards. Because I was told no, I did not take things I would have normally. Then when a park employee came to the campground, I asked about that, and she said oh, no, the fire restrictions were lifted and you could have a fire in the firepit. I'm not sure where else one would have a fire but in the fire pit. Having a fire was not important to me, but they should all have the same story.
On my way to the coast, I visited two other campgrounds just to check them out for future visits, and their restrooms were extremely clean.

Amazing campsite! Beautiful waterfalls nearby distance!

Loved the campsite. Seemed very private due to many trees and foliage between sites. The main road is not very busy so we felt safe bicycling for a few miles up and down the road.

Great campsite...I stayed at #1 and it was well isolated from the others with a short walk to the creek just behind the site. Did the roughly 2 mile hike to falls on a well marked, relatively easy trail. The only disappointment was the restriction on camp fires...

Excellent place to take a family for a short camping weekend!

Great except it’s hard to stake a tent in heavy gravel. Also hard and rocky under the tent.

Great small campsite. Lots of trees and most sites are fairly well separated from the others. Less so as you get toward the loop at the end. One of the trailheads for the Alsea and Green Peak falls hike is right at the entrance to the campground, and there's another that follows the other side of the river from the campground when you cross over the bridge. Really beautiful. Will definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous campground, private sites, friendly hosts, great hiking trail and spectacular waterfall!

Small campground with no kids, large tend sites. Nice and quiet. The hiking map at kiosk can use an update, best to research prior. My boyfriend mountain biked and I did some "laps" up and down the big "fire road" at bike trailhead. June weather was nice. Camped mid-week as weekends were all reserved.

Absolutely beautiful campground with the nicest hosts. Definitely a revisit is in order.

We were in site 1. It was nice and long, and had a little trail down to a creek that the kids enjoyed playing near. The trails were beautiful and accessible from the campground. Excellent mountain biking trails nearby that are separate from the hiking trails. Can't wait to go back!
