My favorite campground. Sites are private, clean, and beautiful- especially those in the 20’s. Camp host was helpful, and the restrooms clean and well stocked. Sadly, some of the surrounding areas are burned. However, Wolf Creek falls out of Glide is a nice easy hike, and not burned over.

The hosts were excellent, warm, and friendly. The Bathrooms were very clean and the showers were warm and clean. The water was SO GOOD. The mosquitoes were incredible and plentiful. One of the best and we'll be back!

Other than the difficulty in reserving a camp site, Susan Creek was the nicest place to stay. Craig told us where to drive to so we could get a internet signal so we could get a reservation. The phone was useless as we were just put on hold and an agent never answered. We will definently return, but we now know to reserve while we have an internet signal.

I stayed here the last week in July 2021. I was shocked the BLM was permitting camp fires and actually selling wood. Daytime highs were in the mid 90's and the forest was extremely dry. No other government agencies in Oregon were permitting campground fires (Forest Service and State Parks) so why the BLM permits fires is irresponsible. I won't be going back until extreme fire danger passes. It's not safe while campfires are permitted.

Ive been camping primarily at various NP, NF, and BLM campgrounds since the middle of last August (2019), and this is one of the best maintained of them all. The camp hosts, Craig and Marty, even go so far as to rake circular patterns into the gravel that overlies each site. Id stay again in a heartbeat!
