I really enjoyed my stay! The location was a perfect starting point for hikes at Crescent Lake, Hoh Rainforest, Hurricane Ridge, and closer by Lovers Lane and Sol Duc Falls. Staying in Loop B is awesome because you have access to the Lovers Lane Loop trail directly across from your campsite. Bathrooms were always in service and lights, mirror, flushing toilet is an upgrade from other campgrounds which lack these amenities. Middle of May and no bugs was nice. Consistent rain and being in a rainforest means as a camper you should be prepared with some kind of canopy to ensure you are not getting soaked while hanging out in your campsite. I opted for a Slumberjack Roadhouse Tarp which was perfect for putting up with 5 days straight of rain and kept us dry. There's lots of options for camping in Olympic but I must say this was as good as I could ever ask!

This was our favorite campground of the summer! Just stunning. Our site 54B was the best in the campground, lots of room and beautiful views of the forest. Would highly recommend staying here and hope we can come back again soon.

Three of us stayed at this campground. We loved how far back the campsite was from the main road, it had great views down the back into the woods near the river. It is a bit far down the road, but this also adds to the camping experience because of the beautiful surroundings and the sound of the river running nearby. We would recommend it.

I am 68 yo and have been coming to Sol Duc since I was 2 and am very disappointed. Its gone way down hill since AraMark has taken over. Fist expecting walk in camp sites in Camp B none wihich we have always done for many years and when I was trying to reserve a camp site B52 was not listed was still considered walk in but when we got there were told its reservation only. One family member had a cooking cabin and fan was broken and was replaced by another broken fan, large pool was closed for days, they couldnt answer many questions because internet was down and she couldnt even get a receipt when checking out and no towels all this when temp was 95.

The sites are spacious but not all of them are clearly marked. The bathrooms were nice and clean. There is only cold water in the bathroom sinks. There is plenty to do around the area: Ancient Groves, Sol Duc Falls, the hot springs, Lake Crescent.

Our site was very large but there were a lot of downed trees so parking was difficult. Convenient to trails and hot springs were nice to be able to use. I would camp here again.
