Good day, We arrived after dar, and the signs were small, partly covered by plants, and not lit. It took us forever to figure out which loop / site we were supposed to be in and did not have internet connectivity to look. In my previous experience there is a bulletin board with the names and sites for reservations after hours, there was not here. We were in the RV loop, which was a muddy mess, not paved. The worst part of all was there was not a restroom in the RV lot side. We do not have a toilet in our small camper, and multiple other people there were in small truck campers or vans without toilets. We had to shuttle the family down the road to the tent sites multiple times per day to use the restrooms, it was extremely frustrating to not even have a port-a-potty there. Lastly, the RV sites was just a big crapy parking lot with pot holes and mud and you are right on top of the neighbor. It was like a bad RV park, not a national park campground... will not be returning.

We came in an RV. I understand the dump site will be available again sometime in the future. Suggest you check before counting on it. The RV sites are very close together but also in walking distance from the hot springs.

Beautiful location 20 minute drive off Hi-101 provided seclusion in a very busy park. Minutes walking distance from the hot springs resort and pools a plus. Adjacent to beautiful Sol Duc River. The electrical hookup campground was a square gravel parking lot with about 16 trailer pads with trees around the perimeter. Each parking pad has electric and water hookup plus a fire pit and picnic table in the woods, providing shade. No toilet facility in the electrical hookup loop other than what youre bringing with you, but there are two other traditional camping loops within walking distance. A short drive to a trail with a gorgeous waterfall and another nature trail in a grove of ancient trees. We stayed a week to see all of the park sites and used the hot springs daily. Get to Hurricane ridge early as their visitor center burned down and very limited access. Also to Hoh Rainforest early in day (before 9 am or after 5pm while we were there). Both worthwhile. We also went to Dungeness bay National Wildlife Refuge in the San Juan de Fuca Straights which was very enjoyable.Enjoy your visit to this magical part of the country. We did!

Resort was magical. Hike to waterfall was so beautiful and relaxing. We even saw a mommy deer and her small foe.
This place is not well cared for, the sites are in a dirt lot across the river from the resort. There were pot holes that fill up after rain. The sites are not maintained very well (weeds growing up around picnic tables). The logs between sites are broken. For $50 a night they could do some upkeep, maybe gravel in the lot. You are better off camping without hookups down the road at the campground. They have nice sites that well maintained as well as bathrooms. There are no bathroom facilities at the RV site. We have traveled to six other national parks this trip and this location does not compare, very disappointing.
The RV site is a gravel parking lot and not recommended. The campsites are much better, but limited sizes avaialble. Some small trailers and all camping vans fit most spots

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
