Nice and shaded sites. Well maintained and quite.

They have pretty good space with amazing view under woods. Their bathrooms are also neat and clean. Plus they have water available as well. Also, they have fully hooked up sites available if you want to book that. And for all the reserved sites they have common dump station and water hookup available which is paid but not to costly.

There was no water or restrooms in Loop A. One old crusty, dirty outhouse was provided for the whole loop. The campground was littered with branches and debris which could be easily cleared away. The pools were closed our whole stay. We hiked from the campground to the falls and took the Lovers Loop trail back coming across several trees on the trail and a bridge washed out. No trail maintenance was apparent. We walked to the ranger station to find a historic building with so much charm deteriorating and not being cared for. It appears the park is only maintaining areas where they collect money. We have camped at the Solduc for sixty years and have never seen the park in such a mess. So very disappointing!!!!

check weather conditions regularly in April as there had been a freak snow storm a couple days prior to our arrival.

Enjoyed the morning walk to the Hot Springs, much less crowded first thing. Hot soak then walk to waterfall for the misty cool off

The campground was great - beautiful location, clean bathrooms. The hot springs pools and locker room were a disappointment. Both were dirty which made things very uncomfortable. We only stayed about 15 minutes because it was gross. The pool had hair and dirt and particles floating everywhere. The locker rooms had dirty floors and the showers had large hair balls everywhere.

We had a lovely adventure early in the season. Site 17 is a long pull through site but on the left side, so that the fire pit and picnic table are on the wrong side of the camper. There are full hookup sites as part of the resort available as well, but in more of a parking lot layout. The resort also has rustic cabins you can rent. The first day was pleasantly free of precipitation, and then the normal weather patterns returned--it is in a rain forest. Hanging out in the hot springs, up to 109 degrees Fahrenheit, while it is raining and snowing is quite exhilarating. Regular price is $15 per person for 90 minute sessions. For extra excitement you can jump in the regular, unheated pool when you get too hot. It is labeled as a resort, but it's a rustic resort. There are several nearby waterfalls to visit on the north side of Olympic Park, and Lake Crescent is absolutely stunning. On the last night of our stay the power went out in the resort, but since we didn't have hookups we had no idea until the days soak in the springs when others were chatting about it. On the next to last day, heading back to camp, a big hemlock had fallen across the road. Luckily someone had an axe in their jeep to clear a lane around it. But then several more trees fell overnight. By this time the park crews were out clearing the road for us. We decided to get our camper out of there before we got snowed in. So next time, maybe I should pack the chainsaw, and the tire chains. We loved the trip!

Great National Park for camping and you can pay a small fee to soak in the Hot Springs at the resort. There are beautiful trails to walk/hike that can extend to overnight backpacking. A very relaxing area.
