Great destination, trails right out of the campsites! If you need or want anything, its a short walk down to the shop and hot springs. Great camp.

Campsite was spacious and had close access to facilitates like bathroom and running water. The local waterfall hike was close enough to begin walking from the campsite!

Space 53, loop B - a little tight with a 25 RV but it did fit. Had to park the car near the bathroom but no big deal Beautiful camp ground, clean bathrooms with water source Really enjoyed this campground

We really enjoyed staying at the campground. It was very quiet and fairly private as we had a large site. Some of the other campsites seemed a little more crowded and/or had trailers that were too big for the site. We did the hike from the Sol Duc resort out to the falls (Canyon Creek falls along the trail is not to be missed!) and then had a refreshing dip in the pools. There was also a level 2 EV charger which was really helpful.

We were disappointed to find that the site we had booked online months ahead could not accommodate both our small (16') trailer/camper and our van. Very difficult from the online info to know this. Our stay included the "weekend" night of a Friday so changing the site for our 3-day stay (W,Th,Fri) was difficult. Only two alternative sites to choose from and they were in a different loop which just by chance had no water due to a problem. We thought the campground should have been cleaner, especially the pit toilet since it was so early in the season. Despite this the hiking is spectacular and we also enjoyed the hot springs.

We booked online for a site for a 25' motor home. The site we were given was too small and not level. Even the camp hose was surprised we were put in that site. Because the campground was full, the host was unable to put us anywhere else. Sol Duc is beautiful, and the camp host was great, but even in late September it was crowded. The hot springs was so expensive we skipped it. So all in all, we had a lousy experience here.
The campground was mediocre, not what I expected from what was described as a premium campsite. It did the job, and we enjoyed ourselves exploring Olympic National Park. I would have been better if I had scheduled a couple nights on the Hoh rain forest side of the park so that I wouldn't have to make the round trip drive, but the round trip drive worked too. The hot springs are very nice. It was also a reasonably good location for the round trip to Hurricane Ridge. The hike to Sol Duc Falls was great. Also enjoyed the hike to Marymere Falls.

Nice, quiet and spacious campground, I had a good time there.
Amazing, spacious campsite with lots of shade. Clean bathrooms. Super close to the hot springs. You can also walk to sul doc falls from the campsite!
